Pros +
- Very secluded and friendly
- I was surprised how nice a clean it was. Perfect stay for the night. Clean and comfy bed.
- Overall a lovely stay and good value for money. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was small but clean and comfortable and adequate for a one night stay. Restaurant, coffee shop and two pubs very close.
Cons -
- Great local experience
- The room is a bit too small. The door to the restroom doesn't open fully because of than. But it wasn't a big deal for us, as we just needed a place to stay overnight. Also, It would be great to have a fringe in a room.
- Not the fault of the accommodation but there was a bit of noise from people leaving pubs and passing traffic., A small bedside lamp would have been a nice extra.

The place was advertised as having a restaurant, but when I arrived was told there was no "chef" until the following week. There were no other food options in that village. Had a toastie and chips in the pub, which wasn't really a meal but tided me over. Got out of there early the next morning (5:00 a.m.), so don't know if breakfast would have been available.
Room was SUPER tiny, and wasn't clean. Dirty tissue under bed. One overhead bulb for light, no reading lamp. Sheets and bedding worn, there were bits of dirt in bed so don't know if sheets had been washed. No chair. No closet. Electric kettle, but inside of kettle needed a scrub. Pile of dirty towels on floor outside room (and I arrived at 6 p.m.). Pieces of dark dirt on bathroom floor. Sorry to be so harsh, but it was gross. The women working in the pub were very nice
Proximity to Limerick. Bed was comfortable.
Staff never replenished room supplies. Cobwebs in the bathroom. Pervasive grease smell from downstairs kitchen.
Quick overnight stop. Staff very friendly. Did find the room a bit hot and were there in a Saturday night so was busy downstairs in the pub but to be expected.
Great shower & the food in the bar is top notch. Very friendly staff
The room was cozy and clean. The toilet and shower were in an excellent condition.
Close to Shannon
Saturday night had live music … good for ambiance not if one tries to sleep.
lovly clean and warm and not too exspensive.
Good place to crash if it’s only for one nightThe food is nice and the pints are cheap
There rooms aren’t soundproof so you can listen to EVERYTHING in the other rooms and the pub downstairs
Bad
It was the coldest building I ever stayed in heating was shit I had to sleep with all my clothes on for 2 nights ,,,,,,,pillows are like things you give a new born child and the blankets are like having a sheet over ya ,,,,,,I travel alot to places and stay over night but this is definitely the worse place I was ever in ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,staff,,, customers,,,,everybody was lovely but the cold in that building would kill ya and the rooms are tiny you open the bathroom door and it hops off the bed,,,,,,,,,,, basically you think it's lovely on the pictures until u go there and you wouldn't swing a cat in the room ,,,,,,,, I was there the middle of December and it was cold ,,,,
Lovely clean quiet room. Comfortable beds. Very pleasant staff. Excellent value.
Possibly a TV in the room would be nice
Very poor
Loud music, noisy outside, door wouldn't lock from inside. Woke up to a rat swimming in my toilet in the morning.
room.was small but cosy had my own private toilet and shower and coffee making facilities in the room
every thing was fine
A fun place to stay above a pub in a very small town. There's an awesome general store with great cafe options a couple of hundred feet away.
Pleasant and simple, no frills accommodation. Perfect for the price.
Noisy til late (no surprise, being over a pub)
Expectations achieved! Surprised to have a fridge in my room.
My room had a fridge but no wardrobe or drawer which was a shock. No worries as only stayed for one night but if for longer, would be an issue.
Staff was nice, helpful and friendly. Locals in pub welcoming.
Room was clean enough, I won't get overly picky but it could be a lot better. Bed was awful no comfort at all. Kettle had thick layer of lime scale on bottom so could not enjoy a cup of tea. And agree with other reviews, outside stairs very unsafe.
A delightful place to stay, rooms are good, bed comfy, excellent shower, tea and coffee a bonus, food is fab in the bar, great local people and staff, I was on a working weekend and this place was a gem to find, owner can be proud, I would definitely return for a wee break!!
