A little noisy until the restaurant closed
The location is comfortable if you have a rented car and want to have a place near the airport (12 minutes of drive). The place is clean. The room and bathroom are very spacious and it has an amazingly comfortable bed. The restaurant is very good so you don't have to look for anything in the area. The AC worked very well.
The water pressure was low and it was noisy in the room (not from the street but rather from a machine that was working at night - a pump or something).
Large comfy room, car parking, close to airport , really helpful staff, nice breakfast, dinner really nice . Great VFM . Overall very clean
The restaurant is a fish specialist & the fish / shellfish was exceptional. However, one of our party ( a last minute addition to our party ) didn't eat fish/seafood & the non sea food dishes were very limited. Chef happily prepared some grilled chicken but she didn't get the great Italan food experience the rest of us did.We also had a disturbed night as the fire door at top of stairs kept banging in the wind, needs a fire door closer!
Free off-street parking, 15 mins drive to airport & there was a restaurant on site
It's in an isolated location, heating did not work, very few options for breakfast & intermittent mechanical noise (like a pump switching on & off) at night disturbed my sleep
This hotel is a restaurant with rooms, and what a restaurant if you like fish. The menu is predominantly fish and shellfish and the dishes are varied and delicious. The service is brisk, attentive and above all friendly. The trattoria has been in the same family for over fifty years. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with enough heat to overcome the winter chill. The hotel is very close to Palermo airport by taxi or hire car. The beach, the harbour and the charming town of Terrasini are all close by. Highly recommend.
The weather wasn't warm enough for the beach which is fifty metres away.
Close to airport
The hotel has deal with the taxi, if you need taxi there is just the taxi that hotel indicates and they charge 35 euros for a trip to the Palermo’s airport that takes max 5 min. The hotel is super noisy and has a strong smell since there is a restaurant in the ground floor. This kind of “deal” it looks in the entire city. Unfortunately south of Italy is known by that.
The room was very basic but clean. The best part of the accomodation was the restaurant which served excellent fish dishes!
Spacious, comfortable room close to airport
A little stress around getting a cab to air port. It all worked out.
Near PMO and our car rental Autovia (just luck on our part). Nice family owned and operated; some English spoken—one person fluent as she grew up in Wisconsin. Nice small beach about 150 m down from the hotel. About 1 km from town center—drive and park and walk among stores. Restaurant very good; opens for guests only on Mondays.
Some of the furniture showed wear.
Amazing value for money!Nice, clean room. There's nothing else to ask for. Amazing staff.
Smart tv would be nice and more option for breakfast as only sweet option available.
close to the beach. close to the airport. nice people. simple breakfast. parking just outside
Nice staff. It is a simple hotel, which most relevant features are the Il Pirata restaurant and being close to Palermo's airport. The hotel is renovated, and the rooms are quite new right now, including the bathroom. Although simple, everything is quite clean and new. There is a small parking location besides the hotel where we could park (though a larger parking is also available in the vicinity). Bathroom is big, tough the shower is not. Water pressure and temperature quite good. The Il Pirata restaurant belongs to the building, and we dined there, with very good first dishes.
Breakfast was quite simple, with good coffee. I only missed some cheese and sausage, so typical from Sicily region!
Very clean. Great location close to the airport. Loved that it was basically right on the beach. Really lovely hotel.
Their restaurant was being renovated.
Manager did arrange a taxi which arrived as requested
Although there was a bidet in the shower room there was no toilet paper or holder. The restaurant was closed on Sundays in spite of being told it would open at 7.30.It is celebrating 50 years in 2018....I cant see it lasting too much longer.Apart from being near the Airport runway it was a 20 minute ride away and as welll as aircarft noise a couple of dogs barked out each hour throughout the night.
Location ideal for a morning flight from Palermo. Restaurant was closed - end of season, but staff were cooking for local workers and made us an excellent meal anyway.
"Did what it said on the tin"Village nearby teeming with restaurants.Airport and petrol 5-10 minutes.WiFi excellentExcellent value
Convenient hotel quite close to the airport, extremely clean and very big rooms. The hotel owner is welcoming, easy going and very pleasant.Simple breakfast in the morning which includes lovely croissants .There’s a beach a few minutes away and the little village is 10 minutes walk with a few restaurants. The restaurant downstairs was closed for a few days , which was a shame as the other reviewers all commented how nice the food was .
Furniture a little outdated but it didn’t interfere with our stay.An alarm clock from a neighbour woke my partner at 4 am , but I sleep with ear plugs so I was fine.
Comfort clean and facilities, owner restaurant also very good. Very closed to the beach and city center. Excellent stop if travelling by plane to Palermo Airpot (15 minutes away).
