Hotel San Michele

Hotel very close to ferry to the islands, very convenient and easy to find. The staff was wonderful, very pleasant and accomodating. The room was clean and nice for a short stay. Seems like the hotel was renovated recently. Breakfast was very good.

The shower is a bit tiny. You touch the faucet when you turn around and you cut off the water.

Bathroom tiles are not very clean, probably need to be renewed.5€ for bicycle parking is ridiculous, I parked in the street instead.

Ac was not working, shower cabin is way too small, and the road next to hotel is very loud.

The stuff was super freindly and alowed us to do a check in already at 11 am, so we could catch the boat to eolian islands, we could also leave the car there without any problems.

PARKING - it terrible you should let customers know the difficulty getting in and out of the garage. especially if the car - mid size.Milazzo is so dirty. the sidewalks are disgusting with Dog feces everywhere. you should provide this to city of Milazzo.|Breakfast is not replenished when they are empty. Staff are rude except for the young girl.Gluten free options for breakfast are very limited. Only hotel out 9 on trip where staff were not friendly. No good morning, no hello, no acknowledgement for the guests, Not impressed. very big difference from our stay 10 years ago!

Property was close to the port where we needed to be as we travelled to the aeolian islands.

Location was good. Many bars and restaurants no need for a cab. The parking was perfect if you have a car.

This is a traditional, well run hotel with all the amenities you could want.The staff are very friendly and always ready to help

Nice and clean. The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful.

They mentioned that they are close to the beach. In fact, they far away from the closest swimming beach.

Staff were so lovely, kind, helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Air conditioning was excellent. Room comfy and sweet. Very clean hotel. Easy walk to town. I would love to come back!

Bed was hard. Not terrible, and sleepable, but hard for side sleepers.

Francesco greeted us warmly at Reception and was a constant source of information and recommendations. Nothing was too much trouble. He even obtained his Grandmother's family recipe for Caponata (which we love), carefully transcribed into English with printed versions in both languages for us to bring home. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The location is perfect, a few minutes walk from the historic centre, tons of restaurants, cafes and shops as well as the Aeolian Islands ferry port and the promenade sea wall. The breakfast buffet assortment was huge and delicious, attended by two lovely ladies who kept replenishing to ensure it was always fresh, and bringing countless cups of fresh coffee. It was a delightful visit and we'd highly recommend this property.

Size of shower glass was a bit too small

There was nothing we didn't like.

The problem is I am a well built individual and the shower in the single room was way too small for me to enter it. They resolved the situation by giving me another room which had a larger entrance door to the shower.

Other than that described no further complaints. I chose this htl due to its proximity to the port.

We had and paid for 3 nights believing it to be in a pleasant town for tourists. This was our mistake. After our arrival we knew we had made a mistake and spoke to the very helpful receptionist and said that we would leave after one night and asked if we could have a refund. She said that she would have to ask her superior and let us know the answer. She took the trouble to come to our room to say that they would refund for 2 nights but I should notify Booking.com first. This I did.The next morning I spoke to a different receptionist who was aware that we were leaving and stated that no refund could be given.
