Super clean, excellent location to the ferries and restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great place to stay!

The location of this property was excellent. Very close to the ferry and super modern. I love that they had in-house parking.

Unfortunately, there was construction going on across the street. I know it’s not the hotel’s fault but I wish I was notified prior to booking.

Short walk over to the ferry terminal. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

The location of this hotel is excellent, just diagonally across the street from the Milazzo Port entrance (5 minutes walk) for the Liberty Lines Fast ferry hydrofoil. This hotel is quite modern and comfortable. Before arriving to the hotel, we spent all day from catching a morning flight from Tunis, Tunisia to Catania, Italy by connecting through Rome. Afterward, we got on the airport shuttle and spent 2 more hours to arrive in Milazzo port. With not much sun light left for the day, we wandered around the Milazzo city center and found a great seafood restaurant hidden inside an ally. All in all, after an evening stroll, a warm shower and a comfortable bed, we were rejuvenated to start another journey in Lipari.

We chose this hotel for its perfect location to the port to visit the Aeolian islands. From the minute we arrived we were greeted by all the staff with a friendly manner and a big smile. Even though we could not really speak Italian they went out of their way to help us and communicate the best they could. Would like to give a special mention to Simona who from the very beginning from booking back in Australia, she was very kind and helpful. Always answering my many questions. Every morning in the breakfast area a beautiful Mariella greeted us so warmly and went out of her way to make us feel welcome and waited on us with whatever we wanted. I would 100% recommend Hotel La Bussola. We hope to come back one day.Thank you Paul & Sandra

The position was close to Port to Catch ferrys to the islands. The staff was amazing, couldn't do enough for you. The rooms were great.

Our experience was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to assist us with anything we needed. They helped us find and recommend local attractions and even contacted the cruise company late at night when we realized we had left something behind. On the day of our checkout, when we struggled to find a taxi, they did everything possible to assist us. The facilities were all in top-notch condition. Overall, an amazing experience!

The location is perfect. A few minutes from the town center. Very big and clean room.

Facilities, location, breakfast.

The hotel is strategically located by the port and close to restaurants and cafes. We received room upgrades, and the rooms were nice and clean, complete with all the necessary toiletries. The staff was very kind and helpful. We didn't have time to try the breakfast as we left early in the morning. Very good value for the money, strongly recommended.

This was the best hotel. We had a stop over prior to heading to the Aeolian Islands and the team couldn’t have been more helpful….both prior to checking via messages and when we arrived the team couldn’t do enough for us. Paid parking was available for our trip to the islands also which made everything so easy. As we are non-Italian speakers we really appreciated the team’s communication with us. Walking distance to everywhere in Milazzo.

We had a glass of wine and a beer and when we went to pay next morning we had also asked for a taxi to be booked to bring us to train station. Total cost €50!! Taxi from station to hotel was €15. I questioned the bill and the lady told me it was ten euro for each of the drinks and 30 for taxi . Taxi was a battered car and driver was on Facebook as he drove us !

Exceptional breakfast and morning staff were excellent. They organised a pick up from the station for us, which was appreciated.

Wifi terrible- kept on dropping out and was essentially unusable. Restaurant wasn’t open on the night we were there and we chose the location based on it having a restaurant given it is a reasonable walk into town centre.

The Hotel is perfectly situated, just a five min stroll to the centre. The staff in the reception were serviceminded and very helpful. The lady at breakfast was very kind saying I could have my room until 11.30. Much appreciated!

The service at breakfast was a bit slow and it was difficult to communicate with the staff as they spoke very little or no English. I asked for fried egg, but got scrambled. Not a big of a deal, but when they came to serve I said I asked for a fried egg and they replied saying I would have to pay extra for a fried egg and that it was only scrambled eggs that was included in the breakfast. It took almost fifteen minutes to make, and I was the only person at breakfast. Otherwise not much variety, ham and cheese. Ok breakfast.
