Cons -
- My pillow has been smelling since I arrived. I didn't complain because I only remembered when I was going to bed and was already tired. But it seemed like they hadn't even changed my previous accommodation. The water in the shower had been failing for the last two days, it wouldn't come out continuously. And when I was feeling sick and needed to go to the room right away, it was just when the key on my bracelet didn't work to open the room door and I had to go to the reception feeling sick to see what was wrong and they released it again without any explanation for the blockage.
- The room will not be fully dark in the morning. Although it has a blackout curtains, the door from the bathroom is transparent, which does not block the lights from coming into the room from the bathroom window
- Shower did not work not hot water andMuddy water came out of the shower

Parque das Fontes exceeded my expectations, it's a beautiful wooded area that is accessible and offers views to the river, hills and where we can spot some of the local wildlife, including massive lizards and exotic birds. The park has lots of swimming pools with fresh water coming from the hot spring, with several cascades, poolside bars, nice live music. It's lovely for those who want to relax, eat, drink and play with small children. That park is accessible 24/7, constantly watched by lifeguards. I loved that park, it's worth visiting it on its own.
The hotel room is not good value for money. We paid a lot of money for a room that was pretty small and had nothing special. I would recommend staying somewhere else and accessing the parks in day trips by car. Also, beware of staff members that may approach you using very strong marketing strategies to try and sell club membership deals or even estates. They can easily take a lot of your time and maybe convince you to sign up for a long term debit.
The use of electronic bracelets is good. The staff is very devoted to the guests. Some of the pools are nice but very crowded.
Old infrastructure with poor maintenance. Food is not based on quality.
Horrible
In the room the air conditioner did not work . Extremely hot . It was old and the filters were not clean. The telephone to call the desk did not work . No smart tv . Room smelling bad and out of date . Loud music that comes into the the room . We could not rest . Nobody speaks English . With all that my husband tried to say we considered this an abuse of elders . Communication poor as nobody can speak English . We left the place before as we got extremely tired there . We are used to use resorts all over the world . Never saw this . 350$/ night and seemed a room of a 2 * hotel and like you were in a slum district with horrible music and extremely loud .
Location close to hot park
Room beds, sheets, pillow
Warm pools, great gym, and convenient if you are visiting Hot Park. Staff was very accommodating.
Showers were cold all week, we asked for assistance 4x. Food was ok, not memorable . Rooms were not to standard of the price.
Wide space near the nature
Infrastructure, front desk staff aren't helpful, we've been facing issues on baby pantry and room unlocking on all stay and it wasn't fixed. The quality of the food on Cora restaurant is low and not worth the price.
multi level natural hot spring/park
room is sub standard and super tiny, reminded me of slightly upgraded/private youth hostel but way overpriced compared with the living standard here. first night was raining and the whole lobby, restaurant/cafe, shop was leaking and flooded with water and no one was doing anything about it. it’s a fall hazard. worst of all, no one speaks any English. they are turning digital and none of the staff can help with the automated WhatsApp digital assistant. there’s no brochures on things to do (it’s a resort), we have to explore and discover ourselves. luckily I have someone who speaks Portuguese.
The food is delicious, the staf very nice, the water is very good.
Hot pools are very nice and something unique.
Food was mediocre and over the 3 days there, first my wife got food poisoning and needed medical care. My oldest son also got food poisoning on the first day. Afterwards we avoided the restaurant at the hotel Pousada eventhough we had lunch paid there as well (had only coffee and bread for breakfast there to minimise the risk). The third day we ate at the hot park and both my kids got food poisoning (my wife couldn't eat anything after her experience the first day) . The 3 year old is still I'll 3 days after. The place is a serious health and safety concern and the staff is ignoring the issue. We complained many times, called them, wrote emails via booking.com and they never replied eventhough they promised that they will look into this. A lot of the customers here are elderly and young children and this can have serious consequences for them. This was not an isolated case. When my wife was returning from the hospital she met a woman who was traveling with a group of 20 people and 15 of them had the same experience as she did.The place used to be expensive. Now it is expensive with huge health risk.
beautiful natural pools
could hear every thing on the room next door. very small room
Location is perfect for the hot poolsVery easy to schedule your eating time(because of covid), using the WhatsApp virtual staff
Hard to speak to staff, when the WhatsApp virtual staff didn't help youMy kids got stomach poisoning and we needed help at night, the virtual staff didn't help at all, and the front desk never answered, lucky we found a staff on the hall which was overloaded, but managed to help usFront desk at checkout didn't seem to care about the problem we and more clients had about food poisoning
I like foods, swimming pools and landscaping
Jumping in the pools is prohibited;Checkout time;
Beautiful landscape, excellent lunch buffet and the staff is extremely friendly. It was my first time in Brazil and the staff welcomed me and made sure that my birthday was special. My boyfriend and I were able to create unforgettable memories. It now hold a very special place in my heart.
You could tell that the rooms get a lot of use. But everything was clean and comfortable.
The Hotel Pousada is the best option to stay within Rio Quente resorts as it’s the closest to both Parque das fontes and Hot Park. The lunch offer is pretty amazing compared with breakfast buffet that can improve a little bit
The size of the bathroom was pretty modest , but the rest in despite of being the first hotel of the resort built back in the 60s , the infrastructure was alright
Very good
O restaurante do hotel pousada poderia ter comidas mais elaboradas, em especial as sobremesas, à considerar o preço pago pela estadia.
Do parque das fontes e do Hot Park.
Do quarto.
