Kyriad Direct Poitiers - Gare du Futuroscope

Poor toilet facilities

Do not stay in Room 009. Toilet bowl & seat was broken. Toilet was too near the wall to sit properly. No other place to hang towel as rack was in-between wall & toilet bowl

Breakfast, clean bedding

Carpet in the bedroom was filthy

Convenient location near motorway

Room smelled cigarette smoke badly, the room was dirty. Almost like there's been a party in there. The cigarette smell was so strong and horrible I couldn't sleep, even though it says no smoking. Really disgusting, if there was someone there when I arrived,I would have demanded a different room

room was good size, clean with a large bed. easy to find. good surroundings for walking dogs safely

Good comfortable no frills accommodation.

Good value for money. Convenient for amenities

- very clean & newly renovated room- huge & comfortable bed - welcoming, friendly staff & very responsive to my inquiries - w/ breakfast buffet that is super value for money. For a small amount paid, surprisingly we enjoyed what we needed- warm croissant & pain au chocolat, fresh bread, newly installed coffee machine with variety of hot drinks to choose from, orange jus, yougart, cheese...-good & quiet location - nice walk with friends going to the train station and entrance to Futuroscope

Cheap and well positioned, perfect for an overnight stop-over or a trip to Futuroscope. Microwave and fridge in the room was a pleasant bonus.

Almost nothing.

I've contacted the staff 3 times by messages on Booking about changing my reservation of 2 people to just one person since 2 weeks before the staying there so it should be cheaper. They've been ignoring my request, so I must pay for 2 people instead just me.

Just adequate cheap overnight stay...

Old building, poor carpeting, dirty door inside, dirty cups in bathroom

Straight forward no frills, good value for money and comfortable.

Is a bit remote, local shops are available but awkward to get to on foot.

I booked very late in the same day as the stay so was pleased with availability and location. The room was reasonable for the price. Functional and perfectly adequate for a one night stop en route elsewhere.

When I arrived the hotel could only be accessed by the automated system but it did not recognise my booking (it had been confirmed but within the hour before I arrived). Fortunately, a member of staff was still on site - doing something else but managed to sort out the issue so I could get into my room after a short delay (10-15 minutes).

Quick service

Sink dirty and no in room kettles couldnt fill up gladk easily without causing a queue at breakfast

Close to Futurscope

Woke up at 8 a.m. due to the fire alarm. There was no one at the reception, and no communication about what was happening or what guests were supposed to do. Later, we found out it was a small fire in the kitchen. Breakfast was poor — instant coffee, no toaster for the bread. Room was very small. Also, there were spiders on the terrace.

Location, bed and cleanliness

Breakfast a little limited. Stairs and landings in need of cleaning up.

Easy to check in. Clean room with all facilities.

Surrounding area ( garden ) needs tidying.

Quiet location, comfortable environment.Good facilities to include fridge and microwave.Asked for extra pillows and received them promptly. Air conditioning works well.Good online communication prior to arrival to assist self check in. WiFi was good.

There is room behind bathroom door to add a shelf for toiletries and personal items.A “Do not disturb “ sign would be useful!

Perfect for a good value (34€) no frills, comfortable place to sleep on the road north or south.

No issues at all

Polite and friendly staff, free parking, easy access to room, spotless sheets, towels, and room comfortable bed, fridge and microwave

It was the first time I stayed in a 'motel' style hotel so at first it felt strange but I soon got used to it

Simple hotel at a good price. Includes a microwave and a fridge in every room. Best value in the area.

Honestly, £30 a night I was worried. But after reading other reviews it seemed OK to book.It was perfect. Clean, comfortable memory foam mattress, quiet, safe (security guards walking around the building and carpark).
