Hotel Le Golfe

Location in marina area was perfect for sight seeing and looking for local restaurants for dining

Parking is horrendous if you are not able to snag one of the limited hotel spots. On the other hand the hotel will give you a parking pass for roadside parking, but good luck finding a spot close to the hotel.

The views.

There was no internet, despite what was advertised. Staff didn't seem to think it was their problem, and were unfriendly. Then again, it's France.

Basic bathroom and decor.

We loved having a balcony room that overlooked the harbor and the red cliffs and castle. Especially pretty to look at during the night time as it is all lit up.The room is not large but having the balcony to sit out on and look at the view was heavenly. We also were thrilled that they offered paid parking at a parking garage nearby. We did eat there for lunch; they offer 10% off if you do eat at their restaurant. Ask at the front desk to have them give you the "pass" that references the discount. Great views from their restaurant. We liked that this hotel was at one end of the horseshoe shaped harbor. It was quieter at this end. Many restaurants within walking distance. The parking garage is probably a 10 minute or less walking distance from the hotel. Get specific instructions from the hotel on where you go to park when you arrive so you can check in. Note there is not an elevator at the hotel so you do have to carry your suitcases up the stairs.You can walk over to gather information about the boat trips to see the Calanques. Would recommend doing a boat trip. Definitely get a balcony room so you can enjoy the views during the day and the evening.

Not as good as we thought. Other hotel has just the same view but with better access and price.

Great location. Nice breakfast on site for 14E. Able to get a parking spot 5 min away for 12E/day. Great receptionists-2 kind and helpful ladies with good English. Good communication prior to arrival. Quiet for sleeping. Comfortable bed.

No ventilation other than heat. We would have loved to open the door to let in fresh air but there were no screens and mosquitoes were problematic.

Fabulous service! Perfect location with a balcony looking right over the port, with a bar/restaurant underneath to have drinks, breakfast. Room is modest and simple but very clean with a good shower. The port is very special!! Walk directly from the hotel to the paths for the calanques trails. Lovely town, Cassis is.

the view was fantastic! It is highly recommended to pay a bit extra for a room over-looking the port. And within one minute's walk are restaurants with great port-side locations. You couldn't ask for a better spot.

the room was tiny - as was the balcony. However, we spent most of the time out and about, so this wasn't really an issue, particularly as the bed was comfortable.

Fabulous location, steps away from all the restaurants and main shopping area. Steps away from local beaches and the view of the room to the boats on the water was memorable!

Cleanliness was acceptable, not exceptional.

Excellent location right on the port. Our top-floor room had a fabulous view of the port and sea. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good at the restaurant/cafe on the ground floor.

View! Location! Staff! Cleanliness! For a 2-star hotel this was excellent. Exactly what needed, not much more, for an affordable price.

The smell was very, very bad. It smelled like fish in the hallways and in the restaurant.

There was no coffee maker in the room. There was no refrigerator and there was no access to ice. There was also no access to drinks because the front desk left at 8 PM.

Location and view from the room were unbeatable

Front desk employees were a bit rude, we did not feel very welcome.
