Hôtel "Castellu"

Excellent value for the price: simple but well-equipped comfy rooms, friendly staff, nice little perks (meal delivery, complimentary kettle with hot drinks)

A multi-socket plug could help with enjoying the desk lamp and the kettle at the same time!

The room was spacious and the bed confortable. The staff was very kind and helpful.

The thin walls did not insulate the rooms from noise from the corridor and other rooms.

You can notice that this was the first hotel on the island. Big , high sealing rooms. New beds, big bathrooms. Hotel owned by family since the build. Good breakfast

receptionist was very helpful and the location, close to the airport, is good.

the bathroom had no overhead shower- just a tub with a hose connected to a hand-held nozzle which did not function.

The hotel was really nice. The room was big with a nice view. Everything was confortable and pretty clean. It is quite close to the airport in Bastia - just 5min on a taxi. Good for a one-nigth stay.

They have 2 buildings. Even though they are not far from eachother, be aware that you might have to walk with your luggage from the main building to the secondary one depending on your room location. Also the restaurant and breakfast area are located in the main building. It was okay to me but may be incovenient.

Friendly personnel, I could check in even though I was two hours early. Very large room and bathroom, comfortable bed.Free parking.Nice for one night in transit.

The courtyard in front and around the hotel needs grooming, looks a bit deserted.

Taxi to airport was a rip-off. If they try to charge more than 10€ then they are making the price up; not an uncommon practice with taxi drivers unfortunately.

The property grounds were charming beautifully kept. The rooms, while a bit dated, we’re comfortable and clean. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and answered all of our questions to out satisfaction. The swimming pool facilities were very well cared for and spacious enough to accommodate many guests at once.

There were some minor cosmetic issues that if attended to, would make this property absolutely top notch. The curtains in our room were very worn and in some places torn nearly in half. Other small modernizations such as new outdoor furniture would also make the property better. The breakfast was not good value for money.

The Front desk Lady was so nice and helpful, good breakfast! Worth IT to visit again next time
