We really appreciated the secure bike storage! The staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.

The bathtub shower was a little tough on older knees, but we managed.

Basic hotel in the centre of Carenten, good boulangerie around the corner & cafe next door. Plenty of parking across the street.

Very basic room, lots of stairs (3 flights) to rooms 5 & 6

Good location if you’re visiting Utah beach and also a decent drive to Omaha. Caen is about an hour for the WW2 museum.

It is dated and needs some maintenance. A few coats of paint and new furniture would help a lot.

Friendly staff helped us find the garage where to put the bikes and gave a good restaurant recommendation. Good secure bike parking.

The hotel is tatty and very basic, it needs modernization. Beds and bedding weren't very comfy. Bathrooms dingy flashback to the 1980s. Breakfast room was windowless. Dead flower arrangements were a trip hazard on the stairs and added to the dreary ambience.

The location is central and the staff were friendly and helpful. There is a separate garage to store our bicycles in.

The rooms are small and a little tired. The common areas are shabby and the stairs narrow.

Traditional style French hotel in the centre of town. Very well priced and well located. Staff are friendly and accommodating. The room is quirky but clean and functional and just what you need after a long day exploring Normandy.

Very central, building had plenty of character + room had a nice view of rooftops . The young man on reception was extremely friendly + helpful.

Superb location in centre of Carentan. Problem is nothing is open and it's a ghost town after 8pm. It's a no frills room but perfect for me having cycled the whole day to get here.Just the 1 restaurant open in the town at 8pm but that's all I needed.Slept like a log.

Prefect for me but its dated and plain. Dont expect a 4 or even 3 star treatment. But for me couldn't have been more perfect. Slept well and it's a cute little French village ( it is very quiet)

A nice hotel, right in the center of the town. Kind and helpful staff, clean rooms, easy accsess, a lot of parking places nearby. Bars, restaurants, grocery stores at walking distance. A good value for money.

Handy oldish hotel close to centre of town

Man on reception was really friendly and welcoming. Location was good for the centre of Carentan and the price was good too. Free car park opposite (note that I think Sunday to Monday the market is there so you must park elsewhere). It's a little outdated in terms of bathroom but kind of kitsch. Room not very large but did the job for the price and it is an older building. Good location for visiting the D Day beaches.

Soundproofing is not very good. We could hear the TV next door and people in the corridor, but maybe this is because it's an old building? A little dusty around window and skirting board so could do with a little bit more clean, but wasn't upsettingly so.

This hotel is located in the main square at Carentan, within easy walking distance of bars and restaurants. The rooms were clean and the staff super-friendly and helpful

Minor issues: room was quite small and walls thin (could hear neighbour's conversation). But nothing major and despite the location it was pretty quiet

Central location in town. Right next to a small bar which is great for a cheeky beer.Breakfast was good and the lady working there was very friendly and helpful, with handy bicycle storage available too.

A convenient location in the centre of the town, close to the train station, shops and restaurants.The locked garage for storage of the bikes that we hired.The breakfasts were good.

I was able to use the hotel WiFi on my tablet with no problem, but my wife did not receive the necessary email confirmation when she tried it on her phone. We didn't pursue this as she was happy to use the data connection on her phone instead.

Basic room on top floor , somewhat dated but acceptable and cleanBreakfast was self service cold selection. Plenty of it for a hungry cyclist - but it costs extra.

Noise from water system and alot of door banging. A single spiral staircase up 3 floors maybe difficult for some.Not so much a hotel but just a collection of b&b rooms.top price but not top quality

I did not like the property at all. It was not as advertised. I stayed for one hour and checked out. This view (photo) is completely inaccurate. I cancelled the reservation. I was told by booking.com that I would be refunded but I was not. Booking.com said the hotel had to do it and the hotel said booking.com had to do it. It has been over a week and I continue to try to resolve this with each party pointing the finger at the other. Both parties enjoying my money while I have not enjoyed anything from this experience and had to incur additional costs by getting another hotel at the last minute. Still wait booking.com for the refund you promised and/or hotel.

Really friendly and helpful staff. Great facilities for cyclists who need bike storage. Comfy rooms and a good central location.
