Park Lane Hotel

Clean, small, seemed to located in a quiet area.

Staff. We asked about possible early check-in very open to the idea they could’ve turned us down, as it is their right. Older lady with short blonde hair was straight out rude (and we’re not mistaking Moldovan assertiveness as rude. She was RUDE.) until she saw we were part of the Genius Level 3 Plus program. Immediately her tone changed, she used a friendly high pitch tone while smiling and even offered to include breakfast for free for day of check in. When leaving a lady had a hard time with our new Travel Benefits card (we found out the bank flagged it as scam transactions because their customers “do not travel to Moldova.”) and was very aggressive, and again rude, about payment. We used a different card and it went through immediately. We stayed in Moldova for almost a week and could distinguish the difference between direct and assertive and rude. Park Lane’s staff is definitely rude. We went to another hotel a 3 minute walk from them and the service was completely different from check in to check out. The front desk staff at Park Lane and the constantly door slamming during breakfast by the kitchen staff will likely be the only downfall of this place. The actual building quality and the cleaning staff did amazing work.

Location, staff, room.

Breakfast was very strange. I could not find simple food like omelette, sausages, ham or cheese. There was a lot of unknown dishes.

Big room, nice location.

No elevator (4 floors!) No shampoo, bathroom shelves are nonusable. Nice view but too high and you cannot see ut anyway)

The hotel is situated in a quiet and nice residential area, very close to museums and parks. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. The breakfast was prepared fresh every day, with many options to choose from and the room it was served in was nicely decorated with folk art. They also had the MTV 80s channel on, which we thoroughly enjoyed! The staff were very friendly and helpful, but at times communication was difficult because of the language barrier. Overall a great stay!

A fridge in the room would be a useful addition, as well as fresh fruits, juices and butter/jam/honey for breakfast.

We had a lovely room in this hotel. Staff were very helpful and everything was clean and neat. The breakfast was wonderful with many great choices of traditional Moldavian foods as well as hot coffee options. We used Bolt to catch a ride from the bus station and then the next day to the airport. No difficulties at all.

The staff was great, the room clean, the wifi worked well and the positioning was great.

The breakfast wasn't great, the dessert was nice, but the meal itself wasn't that varried and I can't say I enjoyed it.

Decent Hotel Located Near the Lake Valea Morilor Recreation Area

Park Lane Hotel is located near Lake Valea Morilor with its renovated shoreline and park. Central Chisinau is a 2 kilometer/20-minute walk away. The rooms are clean and comfortable with good Wi-Fi. A Moldovan breakfast is served every morning.

Excellent location, near the main spots while keeping an peaceful athmosphere.Staff was really supportive from check-in to check-out. Traditional breakfeast, good coffe. Maybe a few international itens would attract more people.

Bedroom was clean yet a few details on it could be improved.

The location was near to bus stations, near a park and it was very clean. The staff was nice and they managed to offer a pleasant stay at their hotel. Breakfast was good, and you have a variety of sweets.

Park Lane Hotel is located a kilometer or so from the heart of rejuvenated Chisinau and adjacent to the park and pedestrian trail that's been constructed around the city's lake. There are a few restaurants and snack stands near the hotel and a bus stop just across the street. The rooms are a bit dated, but they're clean and spacious with decent Wi-Fi. A good breakfast is served daily.

It was the second time we stayed here. Very nice and friendly staff, quiet rooms, and a variety of breakfast.
