Villa Arus

Location is very nice and the rooms are very comfortable and clean. Staff very nice. The only inconvenience mal functioning the elevator. But, staff had solved it very nicely and efficiently.

Breakfast hours has to be extended it¿s only 2 hours!

Stayed there twice. Nice place. Picture family-run small hotel. Friendly and caring staff. Rooms are very spacious which allows you to meet with people there. There is an elevator - might be important for some people in comparison to other small hotels. The breakfast buffet is simple but pretty good. Also take into cosideration that besides the breakfast there is no restaurant to order other meals. The location isn't very convenient but can be played around. Over-all is a good option. I would definitely do it again.

It's located inside the residential area, very close to everything but far from main road and it's quiet at night. Very nice and helpful staff

Really good location, 2-5 mins from central railway station and there is a big supermarket nearby. Big rooms with all necessary things. Pet friendly hotel, we traveled with a dog and didn't pay any fee for that. Nice place to have a rest before a long trip.

Rooms were a very good size. Everything worked as expected. The bed was comfortable. The location was central to Strada Ismael (which is convenient for buses from the airport as well as buses to Gara de Sud, and Gara de Nord for onward journeys). The room was quiet with little traffic noise. Some of the reception staff spoke English. There was a good range of choices at the brakfast buffet.

There was no plug in the wash basin - but this is something I have noticed in many places in Eastern Europe.

Convenient location, close to amenities but not on the main road, which makes it quieter.

Walls between the rooms are too thin, crying babies and snoring neighbours can keep a light sleeper up at night.

Pretty nice hotel with friendly owner. The room was really big with fridge and kettle. Good location (up to 10 mins to train station, about 25 mins to city center). The breakfast was pretty good as well, there were not a huge variety of food, but still not that bad (eggs, a bunch of vegetables, some cheese and meat, coffee with milk, cereal)

Value for money. Quiet place in a good location.

The terrace is so big and beautiful, but no any furniture to have a cup of tea on it.

Staff extremely welcoming and helpful. Huge room, can accommodate a family. Equipped with big fridge. Very calm, not noisy at all, allows you to get a good rest.

Cable TV provided almost exclusively channels dubbed in Russian, sometimes subtitled in Romanian. Because of the dubbing, you could not really understand anything. But this is not necessarily the villa's fault.

Rather warm, super clean room with comfortable bed and pillows. The hotel is 15 minutes walking distance from central railway station which was crucial for us.

I didn’t like the surrounding of the hotel. Seemed not a very safe district from the first sight. We were put on the last floor, when we entered it was pretty hot inside. The beds were really very uncomfortable. One was too soft, another was really very bad. The pillows didn’t keep shape. We didn’t have a good rest. We also constantly heard people opening and closing doors, going somewhere loud in the middle of the night.

Nice spacious room with 2 beds. Pets are allowed. Central location, really convenient. Also there is a public transport stop just nearby. Air conditioner works well. Unlimited hot water. Super convenient for travellers with car - they have inner parking space.

A bit pricey. There was no toilet paper, so we had to ask for it. There was not enough blankets for 3 of us, had to ask for them ) Loud music from nearby disco may be an issue. But it calms down a bit at night.

Good location, close to some bars/restaurants and not far from the center of Chisinau. Clean bed linen, very big rooms

Furniture is old and carpets need some cleaning. You have to climb stairs from the street to reception, there was no elevator.

The hotel is in a central location, convenient for shops and restaurants, but is away from the main roads so there is little traffic noise . The location is only 5-10 minutes walk for the train station, the central bus station, and buses to the airport and other parts of of Moldova.The room was comfortable, and everything worked, including a good wifi connection and a powerful shower.I didn't have the breakfast, so can not comment on this.

One evening there were noisy people in the next room into the early hours of the morning, but this wasn't the hotels fault. Better soundproofing between the walls would have helped.

Nice big cleaning room the gentilman working on the frontdesk really helpfull nice and kind.
