Campanile Dunkerque Est - Armbouts-Cappel

A little dated but the rooms have been updated and are clean and comfortable. Really handy for the Dunkirque ferry without being right in the town.

I find climbing into the bath for a shower a little difficult

Rooms are quite dated, smaller than expected and bed was uncomfortable.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Easy checking, easy access to the town.

location only by car, no dinner, room was not comfortable, one chair, no fridge, shower n bathroom was almost disgusting.

Decent room for the price. Nice breakfast spread. Great location.

The hotel restaurant does not serve dinner. I had to walk across the road to the Best Western to get dinner.

Strange smell of the room

Great option for families travelling to Dunkerque or getting the ferry. Very comfortable setup with motel style rooms opening to the parking space

Really great staff, I arrived at 2am due to traffic and still had no issues checking in.

Shame breakfast isn’t included

Old and in need of updating and repairs. Restaurant only serves breakfast, no food in the day.

Light and plug sockets didn’t work. No hairdryer provided. No railing to go upstairs on so difficult and dangerous for older people.

Warm, clean bed. Stayed overnight to catch early ferry and was perfect for what we needed.

Walls are quite thin and you can hear people/ TVs in next room.

Convenient for motorway and dog walk.Kettle.Clean bedding and towels. Quiet.

We had a disabled room which we didn't ask for but if we were disabled we could not park our car right outside neither could we access the toilet roll as it was on the wall opposite the toilet. The shower involved stepping over a high bath side to shower, unlikely to be possible for a disabled person. Despite having a kettle, the cups were only cardboard and we only had one tea bag. The room had an adjoining door which made us feel we had less privacy. The guest in the neighbouring room, we suspect staff was noisy when they came and went and slammed the door at an unreasonable hour.

Very friendly staff, very dog friendly, nice lake across road for dog walks, unfortunately thick fog ( not hotels fault ?) so could not really enjoy surroundings. Didn't have breakfast but it looked good. Excellent price

Basi hotel all you need for a nights sleep clean but loo was smelly like men's public toilets. Good value. And dree parking g nice w staff handy location

General location

No restaurant and this is not stated on the website. Every other Campanile has one and very good too. We had a long journey and we're looking forward to fining on site. The room decor and furniture was very old, worn,unattractive a d very shabby.. Avoid at all costs

location is the best for what i need and the silence is the best

miss the food there as it was good and think the food was one of the best point of sale for those hotel

Staff not phased by our very early arrival - very welcoming. Room ready and super clean. Restaurant, despite staff emphasising and apologising for its limitations, more than satisfactory. Breakfast well organised and substantial...

Good but coffee machine broken and no effort to make instant coffee

Advertised as breakfast included - it was extra. Restaurant was shut apart from breakfast

good location as stop on way to Germany. Breakfast was great - full buffet, nice pastries and meat. Easy parking on arrival. Room OK. Restaurant available in Best Western opposite (walking 2 mins)

No restaurant despite name saying restaurant. Luckily restaurant next door but small and only open at 19:00, Only bar and breakfast available. Room available only by circular steps outside. walkway by window requiring shutters to be drawn. Noisy room as easy to hear other people next door. Parking was cramped in morning and difficult to enter car. clean but only just, water did not drain quickly.
