    Pros +

    • Location was convenient to reach from Calais. Staff at check in were helpful and spoke good English.
    • I’d rather sleep in my car. Avoid.
    • Price.

    Cons -

    • Rooms were tiny even for the budget price of the hotel. Bathroom was basic self enclosed unit but did have lots of hot water for the shower. Main issue was that the mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable so a good night sleep was challenging.
    • Not clean, uncomfortable, smelled like cigarettes and marijuana. Rooms need a complete renovation.
    • Very run down, but you get what you pay for. Had the feeling several people were living there, perhaps as refugees or homeless put up by the government. But there was quiet, a soft bed, staff was doing their job, and hot water for the shower. Wouldn't bring the family there though.

Good location near the lake, it’s cheap

This is an old property - it shows its age and is very noisy - it’s cheap and the price is reflected in your stat

    Price

It's very small , not clean , the heating is not working, the water tap needs maintenance and no food options nearby.

The cleanliness is of important matter to me and it wasn't that good. Me and my children didnt feel comfortable enough to have a shower. We slept and go.

Handy stay and price/quality is ok. Ample parking, friendly staff. Would use again when travelling through Dunkirk.

Some guests were smoking hash outside their doors near my room, the hotel cannot be blamed for these people. Maybe an idea to make the whole properly and parking smoke free zone? Some distance from a restaurant.

Staff friendly, room tidy, clean and bed comfortable. Location 15 mins from ferry terminal, quiet, secure location, ample parking.

As with a lot of budget hotels, the duvet is very thin. I always end up using the duvet off a 2nd bed if it's available.

    Disappointing

There was no hot water, the service at front desk is not good, very small room, the bathroom is very tiny as you can't have a shower with confidence, there is no enough electric switches to charge your phone because it's next to the toilet only

A hostel is more like very small rooms noisey and bunk beds price should be about30 to 40 €

Ok but would not stay again unless desperate

Comfy bads. Close to carpark. Quiet room. Easy check in.

Shower cubicle was very small and need upgrade.

Comfortable bed. Near motorway. Reasonably priced

Needs a coat of paint. Mould above bedroom door. Laminate edges missing. Poor lighting, bulbs not working. Shower very small. Bed cover stained. Outside needs renovation

Bed was comfortable, hotel is not far from Calais Ferry. You need a car to get around, though. Staff are friendly.

The hotel is green outside from mold...they should clean the whole outside with a pressure washer. The walls in the rooms are dirty with stains on them. The shower is very small. Only French TV programmes...we speak fluent English and German...but there was no english or german programme for my 11 year old...

    Open 24 hours

No breakfast...with the price ..included.... breakfast was extra.....

Comfortable mattress, good size room, provided all the basics. Excellent Wi-Fi, plenty of parking right outside the room. Reception staff were very friendly.

I think a previous customer was a serious smoker as the smell was still present.

Although the property looks shabby from outside, it was super clean and comfortable. If you want an affordable place to stay, with a decent shower and comfortable bed (OK, a bit cramped but who needs space when your main worry is to have a good sleep) then this is just the place.

A couple of guests were noisy but not for long

    5KyrmanidouPosted on: 8-29-2024

Clean, very close to the port and cheap

There was a lot of people outside chatting loudly despite the fact that we got there at 00.30 at night and the noise continued till a lot later! Very dated and needs some doing up.
