The view from the terrace was lovely.

The receptionist wasn't friendly and unable to communicate in anything other than catalan. She did her job but we expected a warm greeting in a place like this. The restaurant was made to feel exclusive - booking only, set menu, but we weren't looking for a big meal so we were booked into the pizzeria. There was almost no-one in the main restaurant but we were sent to a room at the rear of the kitchen where there was a TV playing on the wall, sat next to a bar that had the breakfast buffet stock stored in view. Certainly not a nice space to be excluded to. They could easily have served us a salad in the main restaurant without bothering anyone but we felt like we weren't valued enough. It really felt like a two tier hotel, one for the rich and then us. I couldn't recommend coming here. It looks nice but no substance.

Amazing views on the mountains! Rooms are cozy and beds are comfortable. Restaurant is very good, but you need to book table for dinner. Also, SPA should be booked in advance too. The SPA is quite small: mini pool with two jacuzzi spots and 3 lounge beds.

We were not aware about required booking for the SPA, that's why we had only 30 min before another booking. Anyway, the staff was nice to let us in without booking.

Pet friendly, although they charge €25 per night for the dog which I didn't know before booking. Pretty location and nice facilities. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast.

Had a superior double and the room and the view were very nice.The restaurant has an excellent view and setting, Food is very good.Great getaway.

To be perfect, I would move the paddle tennis courts somewhere else.Breakfast is good, but a little below the overall experience.Bear in mind I say this to go from 9 to 10. But if you consider the price of the hotel, it is a 10.

Location in the nature, stunning furnitures and settings of the hotel + swimming pool, restaurant and bar; high quality of the materials used everywhere and very cozy; a lot of parking lots next to the hotel

People at reception couldn't speak a word in English...quite unusual; breakfast layout should be replanned as it is a bit uncomfortable as it is now (people is queuing in the small place to get food, marmelade is in another room though, and the only waiter present doesn't have time to prepare coffee for everybody at the same time...while breakfast timetable is compulsory and quite short); SPA was closed except for a small pool and massages.

Exvellent position with a view on the sorrounding mountains. The hotel is well decorated and the room was confortable.

We were disappointed because the spa was not working for the entire stay and the restaurant was closed. Considering that the hotel is far from tje center of the village not having a restaurant nor a bar open was really a trouble. This was not whT we have expected when we have booked the hotel.

heritage and location

The location is breathtaking and the detail to attention was marvelous.The staff and owner were extremely friendly and helpful.Very warm and cozy atmosphere yet chic and elegant at the same time

Only thing I can remark is that more drinking water could have been provided but aside from that everything was magical.

Oriol, the desk Manager was excellent and tried his best to help us.

We went the 2nd time to Hotel Franco for a much needed relaxing weekend with a Spa. Our room which was on the other side of the Spa was not cleaned and like a cupboard, so small. Oriol managed to move us.. The much needed Spa was not working, only one jet so we skipped this, much to my dissapoint. We decided to have a pre dinner drink at the bar but again, could not relax as the staff hoovered around us, very unprofessional. We felt the hotel now concentrates more on the restaurant than the hotel It was a great shame
