The breakfast was excellent! Always fresh and variety. The staff always went above and beyond to accommodate guests. It was impeccably clean. Excellent food and staff.

The breakfast was good, and they even cooked eggs specially for us. Location was ideal, right in the heart of town. The room was clean and the bed comfortable.

The problem with B&Bs is that they are often understaffed. We arrived an hour early, only to find the place totally shut down. We had to sit in our car until the appointed 3 PM hour in order to check in. This would not have happened if we had booked a full-service hotel.The shower had a glass divider that only extended halfway across the shower. What was bound to happen, happened. The bathroom floor became sopping wet.

They were very helpful, great suggestions and responsive.Answered almost immediately. Very hospitable

Location was a little away in a very little neighborhood

Most of the staff were kind and helpful.

Being without hot water for 3 days. Also no-one on reception from 11-3,. not even anyone answering the "emergency" phone number when on a day trip our train back was cancelled at short notice and we could not find a taxi to Tropea.

When I arrived regarding my reservation they told me no room available, and they want refund my money at 11pm,terrible hospitality

One of the rooms smelled bad and was noisy. We got an alternative lodging at a different site that was the same price, but much lesser in quality.

Very clean, great location, excellent breakfast and very friendly staff.

This was a great place to stay, the location was very central and easy to get to arriving by train. I had a room with a small balcony which I appreciated. The room was a good size and the bed comfortable. There was a kettle in the room to make tea of coffee. Breakfast was a highlight with the amount of choices available and a lot of it cooked on site. Eggs were made on request.

There was limited storage space in the room and bathroom. Extra pillows would have been nice.

Lovely location and nice design overall. At first glance, everything looks great. The kind ladies serving breakfast were a highlight and left us with a warm feeling overall.

A few details let it down, like a moldy hairdryer and wine glasses that hadn’t been cleaned after previous guests. The biggest downside was the lack of soundproofing, loud voices at night and early morning noise from all sides. Due to this, it felt more like a hostel.

Clean, tidy room, nice staff, very good breakfast, hotel situated in the middle of "everything".

The temperature in the breakfast room was too low for this season. This was due to the fact that the entrance door was left open. You needed warm clothes to be able to enjoy your meal.

Everything was great! The staff was very nice, the breakfast was good, and the coffee was delicious. The location is also very convenient. Highly recommend!

Great location, close to all amenities in town and only a 10 minute walk to the train station

We had an unfortunate problem with the room safe that would no longer open and required immediate attention on our departure day. The lady in charge was extremely professional and got help in time for our departure. Great job.

Room numbers were little scrambled and confusing

Eliseo Palace is very modern by Italian hotel standards, convenient to the Tropea train station and offers a nice breakfast in the morning. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Tropea is very walkable and the Eliseo Palace was very easy to find.

Watch out for mosquitoes in the courtyard and breakfast area.
