Hotel La Playa

Amazing little hotel, close to marina and town center. We had a family room with balcony and views to die for. Room was spotlessly clean , very large, large modern bathroom. They also have very good restaurant on property, we had dinner there twice and it was delicious! We loved our stay !

Really close to the beach, the room was clean. personal was really nice, the restaurant’s food was delicious.

I expected a simple hotel slightly out of the center. It was wonderful, with a pool, gardens with dining, AC, And the staff were helpful, courteous, and always smiling. They could not have been nicer. Good breakfast. Easy parking onstreet.And tremendous rapport of quality and price -great quality, good price. Quiet and away from the din of the port. Good restaurant with local dishes.

I'm getting old for stairs but my room was only two flights.

You can walk to the beaches, port and supermarket. The staffs are very welcoming and friendly.

Our stay at Hotel La Playa was great! From the moment you enter the hotel, you feel that friendly and welcoming energy. The place is clean, bright, comfortable, colourful. We had a family room overlooking the town and the sea. We enjoyed the terrace with a view very much! We had breakfast and dinner which I rate number one! Personnel smiling, helpful, we had the feeling that they are here for us to feel like at home. Only up to 10 minutes from the beach. Parking at the hotel. I hope to come here again.

A decent and clean hotel in a busy coastal tourist town. The staff is extremly friendly and helpful, did not expect to get my room spotlessly cleaned every day. Hotel pool is nice (but not warmed up).

The breakfast was awful - no Italian breakfast, but rudimentary continental. Coffee was grimm - came from a machine, despite the hotel having proper coffee maker in use during the rest of the day. No water for breakfast either, only supersweet undrinkable 'juice'.For dinner, you need a reservation, otherwise you will not be served. This is strange for such a small place.

I had a lovely 6 nights at Hotel La Playa. The hotel is very conveniently situated from the centre of Cala Gonone, about 5 mins walk to the water front. The staff were lovely - my coach was late arriving and they stayed late to check me in. They also helped me arrange a taxi. The restaurant attached to the hotel is also a great choice for food and drinks. Delicious and very reasonably priced.

Poor breakfast, missing kettle in the room, dirty water pool, noisy place - close hotel somebody building house.

Easy to find with plenty of free off site parking nearby. The staff were lovely and attentive.

The room large but was rather drably decorated. There was a small outside seating area but it had no view. The room was right next to a large aircon unit which was rather noisy if the veranda door was left open. The aircon in the room didn't function at all and the refridgerator was tiny and ineffective. The breakfast was adequate yet uninspiring.The hotel was surrounded by lots of construction/building works at the time of writing this.

Everything, staff so kind and attentive. Very good breakfast, with a lot of options including eggs, cakes, croissants, yoghurt.

Great location with a 5 minute walk to the main pier and town centre. Nicest and best staff I have been served by in a long time, super friendly and attentive. Great food at super prices.

The facilities were very nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful ! It was also a very short walk to the center of town and the port, so once you park your car, you can leave it!

The staff was friendly. The location isn't fancy, but it's close to the center. The restaurant has amazing food, so we decided to eat there every day.

We had a beautiful, big room with balcony. From there you could see the mountains. The room was clean and the staff changed the towels everyday and looked after our room. The bed was comfortable.Parking was possible around the hotel and free. The breakfast was very tasty and they changed it a little bit everyday.

We loved the room (room 400); the breakfast was great and too was the dinner. The location is up the hill from the town but only 5 mins or so.

I’d love a kettle in the room.

Excellent, quiet location just a short walk from the marina. Rooms were very clean, staff very friendly and even checked us in late as our flight was severely delayed
