Boasting stunning panoramic views that are unrivaled anywhere on the island, the hotel is set in a characteristic village, in the center of Orosei's Gulf, on the east coast of Sardinia. This hotel stands in front of Cala Gonone’s harbor, from where you can embark upon boat trips to the Bue Marino Caves and the fantastic beaches of the Gulf of Orosei. The hotel's spacious terrace overlooks the Gulf of Orosei. This fully renovated hotel combines warm hospitality with an ideal position in the center of the village in front of the sea. Each of the rooms has a balcony and free WiFi, some also come with view of the sea. A free private parking for motorbikes and bicycles is available on request.

    Pros +

    • We were well impressed by the location - I had no idea it was at the port, and our sea view balcony room was great. We should have stayed a few more days. Beautiful beaches and coastline to explore. Funky hotel, lots of adventure bikers stay there.
    • The center of activity, especially if you were there to go out on a boat to see the sea caves. The restaurant below was OK not great but good enough. They did have some really good gelato better than I found other places in Sardinia.
    • The location may be one of the best in Cala Gonone. The staff went above and beyond in helping us with information. When our flight was changed by the airline, necessitating us to leave the hotel prior to breakfast, the desk person ensured that we receive a boxed breakfast to take with us. All of the information we received about weather, tours, and local restaurants was spot-on.

    Cons -

    • No parking but I lucked out. I got a free parking spot right behind the hotel just by luck. I left my car there for 2 1/2 days. I never moved it. I walked everywhere.
    • Parking is a bit inconvenient. Parking ran about 8 Euros per day, which is affordable, but the parking is a few blocks from the hotel. It turned out not to be that big of a deal.

Great location for doing a boat ride, staff was helpful. No parking on site but plenty of options nearby

    9MikePosted on: 7-14-2025

    Location and sea view balcony

Parking close is not easy for free.

    10RobertPosted on: 7-14-2025

Nice room with sea view. We had no time for breakfast, but we were offered breakfast to go

    7EmilyPosted on: 6-17-2025

location was very convenient, wifi was good and ac was strong.

male staff member was rude and condescending. all of the women were very nice.

    9MalcolmPosted on: 4-23-2025

The location was very good, i.e. right on the water facing the boat harbour (which is very handy for all those Bay of Orisei must see tourist attractions) and with views to die for up and down the coast from the room, bathroom and outdoor balcony! It was also an easy walk to 4 sandy beaches (great swimming), the town, restaurants, etc.

Coffee machine at breakfast was terrible.

Nice and comfortable place. Even rooms that are not facing the sea have a small balcony from which you can view a bit of sea

    10RobertPosted on: 4-18-2025

Right on the harbour, stand alone building, with restaurant on the harbour front and rooms on the upper floors (not many rooms). Our room had a sea view with balcony (as do all sea view rooms I think); the view is exceptional, taking in the harbour and full crescent of the bay and mountains. The staff were super friendly and hospitable. The food was local and fresh. The room was tidy and very comfortable and clean. I would happily laze a summer away here!!!

The lady at reception was lovely and very understanding. The room had a magnificent view of the port, was very quiet and very clean. I would highly recommend

Hotel is location is super. at the edge of the harbor /restaurant & shopping streets. Means in 2 minutes you are on the crowd but otherwise if you don't want to you will sleep quietly in your hotel! In 3 minutes you are also at the first beach. Small but nice overall. We also had dinner at the hotel's restaurant. I highly recommend. Prices slightly up, but you will get really tasty and fresh food with big portions.

The hotel's location is very convenient, as it's right in front of the port. The room was very clean.

The room was really small with a tiny bed. The noise from the fridge was unbearable and prevented me from sleeping... And apart from the reception staff, who were very nice, the rest of the staff, especially in the bar and restaurant, were really unfriendly... I had the impression that customers were bothering them. I understand that they're tired of tourists, but the hotel is designed to receive tourists, so if they don't like tourists, they should change jobs.

Fantastic location, and lovely staff. Right next to the harbour, but still very quiet

    8ShaunPosted on: 10-3-2024

A brilliant location, in a wonder place

Parking ?️ is a problem in this town, however, you can get around this by parking out of the main seafront (hotel) when you are arrive for free, then walk to the hotel, in the evening when everyone leaves, move your car to the car park by the hotel and it’s only £6 for the day ??

    10RebeccaPosted on: 10-1-2024

Great location, nice restaurant below, perfect for a couple days

Shower was small and duvet was very very thin to sleep with. Nothing really bad though ☺️

    8SallyPosted on: 8-1-2024
