Hotel Villa de Cacabelos

Definitely was in my list of favourite places! Staff are amazing and the location to restaurants, the camino, supermercados was great! Will stay again if in the area!

Really great location. We were on Camino. This property isn’t “ON” the Camino-just a block or two off. Very near a circle w/ much to do and close to laundry. Camille (check in) and Adrian (evening) were really helpful and attentive!

Location was very convenient coming off of the camino, and close to the city center. Excellent value as well.

The AC was definitely struggling to cool our room, even on the highest setting.

The staff was awesome. We had challenges and he was very attentive and helpful. The receptionist went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.

Convenient to Camino trail, grocery stores and restaurants. Both rooms were great, clean and had tubs. Nice to have breakfast available and a bar off the lobby.

Did not like that the bar was not open and there was no way to get anything to eat / drink on site.

The beds were not comfortable. The air conditioning took a while to cool down the room. The front desk and bar were often not staffed. We had to wait around to get questions answered. The fridge in the room was not cold. In fact, we were not sure if it worked at all.

We had a group of 4 for the Camino and were able to have a room with all of us together. It was like our own private Albergue room! The bath and shower were very nice. We had an amazing breakfast and the we really enjoyed the helpful staff!

Close to town, secure under ground parking for the motorcycles.

The town its self was not particularly nice, and we struggled to find a decent restaurant, that would be the only reason we wouldn’t return.

Underground, secure parking for our motorcycles, proximity to bars and cafes. Staff were very nice, helpful and welcoming. It is our second visit.

Breakfast was €10, but not good value. Previously there were hot options so disappointed.

The room was of a very high standard. Very clean.The staff were very helpful.I needed to get a bus and taxi to get to Santiago . The organized it for me and eliminated any stress I knew I was going to have in doing this. Very helpful and appreciated.

Lack of power supply points and the room is dark as some lights in our room were not working.

Hotel is in the middle of downtown. The restaurant was open for guests, but not the evening we arrived. It seems to be only open for coffee, but might have more at some other time. Restaurants and bars were in easy walking distance.

Good location for those walking the Camino Frances.

When we went to leave in the morning, we were locked in. It took 20 minutes for a staffer to arrive at the front desk. He didn't have the keys to open main doors or security shutter. Unbelievable SAFETY ISSUE. Finally, we were led to basement and guided out via the garage! Add to that bar was reportedly open but staffer didn't know prices or actually how to make drinks (her words!) restaurant not open. They should have refunded our money for the stay!!
