The staff were very friendly, and the check-in was very quick.

It's not a bad thing; having a hairdryer in the bedroom during this winter weather would be ideal to avoid going out into the cold with wet hair.

Very pleased with our rooms. Very clean and very well organised, we had a few things but everything we needed was there. beds were very comfortable and the water was hot. we had ALDI, McDonald, COOP and a few other things in the area. Easy access from the highway. staff was very nice and friendly, like a family business.

it was more far than what i have initially expected from Laussane city center.we were supposed to be given travel cards for use in the public transportation but were not. we found about it only in the last day, after spending a high amount for transportation.

This hotel was in the industrial area but Switzerland has the best industrial area in the World. The breakfast was excellent.

Apart from breakfast all meals were microwave and self service.

Check in was quick and easy, the room was perfectly clean and functional. It was kind of 'get what you pay for' I suppose in the sense that you paid for a clean, private room and that's exactly what you got.

There was a resort fee of 5 francs, which admittedly wasn't much but it was also unexpected, this was separate from the booking cost of the room. I must have missed it in the small print but it did come as a surprise. The pillows were a bit pathetic. It's worth noting this is an Ibis Budget, not an Ibis - and if you turn up expecting the latter this is definitely a downgrade in terms of quality.

The property was very clean and the staff was super friendly, quick and helpful.The bus stop was near (200m) and, as a student, it was very easy to reach the central points of the city (school, center, Renens, …)

Breakfast was good and close to the bus station, but some items were missing, such as slippers. The bathroom facilities are not suitable for a twin bed.

The property is very clean. There is a nice little outdoor area on the side which is pleasant.

Overall, it was just a bit overpriced for the value. We don’t realize it was a big convention weekend, where all hotels were booked, so we paid a lot for a room that was very tiny in a location right off the highway that was a bit loud and not very convenient to town - it is at least a CHF 25 taxi/Uber ride. The room setup is very tight for 2 people, and there is a bunk bed for a third, which would have been impossible unless it was for a small child. Also, for the price we did pay, it was frustrating to also then have to pay 3 francs for a nespresso capsule we made ourselves, without any milk option. Overall it was a fine experience.

We forgot beg with new clothes and when we called they did not find it, it just “disappeared” from our room.

Was very difficult to travel from hotel to city required several changes extremely difficult with luggage.

Despite of paying extra for buffet breakfast, we were told that the items have been finished at 09.30 am only. The woman at the duty for buffet breakfast was highly annoyed and kept making faces seeing guests coming for the breakfast and was very rude.

Very clean. Ideal for overnight stays only, as our room was very small. We 2 used a room for 3 so one person could sit on the bunk bed, while the other person did the (un)packing. Nearly everything was provided for what we needed. Staff was efficient, helpful and friendly.

No space for bigger luggage.A hot water kettle, cups and glasses would be helpful.Breakfast was a little bit overpriced as very basic, but plentiful.

the only good thing was that the hotel provide ticket for free ride in buses,metros and tram.

It is an Ibis. You know in advance what you will get. Usually no surprises ... except this one …

I’m not usually one to write hotel reviews, but I’m rather disappointed by my recent experience, so here I go. I’ve always considered Ibis hotels (including their budget line) to be a CLEAN, safe, and convenient option for a fair price. Hmmm, but not this time. While preparing to check out in the morning, I saw a roach on the bed. It’s clear that it—and likely others—had been keeping me company while I slept. Disgusting.When I got home, I had to thoroughly check my suitcase and belongings to ensure I hadn’t brought any unwanted guests. This is unacceptable in Lausanne, even for a budget hotel. The sanitary authorities should inspect this location.
