Beautiful property. Large rooms, excellent shower, very clean and beds super comfortable. Love the decor. It's great to have a restaurant onsite, and breakfast was delicious. The location is quiet and secluded, but not far from anything you need. Highly recommend staying here.

Wasn't told about the new wellness area upon check-in, and if you're not staying 2 or more nights, you have to pay. No other property we've stayed at past week has charged guests for use of sauna, hot tub, wellness area, etc. You are given at least 2 hours complimentary. When deciding on where to stay, this is going to be a game changer. You should re-think this policy.

Hotel is REALLY well done. Modern and new, really well appointed! Sauna and jacuzzi are worth it as well. We also had dinner in the restaurant and had a fabulous meal. Staff was fantastic...very friendly, helpful and a delight to deal with. Bathrooms are fantastic. They really didn't overlook a single detail!

The Pira Hotel provides a memorable boutique travel experience that should be appreciated and rewarded in today’s short-term rental environment.We happened upon the Pira Hotel while looking for a quaint stop near some planned activities in the area: Škocjan Cave, Predjama Castle, and the Lipizzaner Stallion Farm. Room accommodations are in a nicely renovated building onsite that relaxes you with its understated elegance and vintage interior stone walls. We were looking forward to dinner onsite after a long drive and were pleasantly surprised as each course surpassed the previous, delivering unique flavors with fine artistic presentations. AppetizerBeef carpaccio, celery purée, pickled onions with beet juice, and pumpkin seed sourdough bread. Experiencing the perfect bite with a little bit of each ingredient was the first alert this was a special experience; the pickled onions and beet juice made things pop. SaladSpelt salad with sautéed marinated prawns, carrots, celery, bell pepper, and spinach dressing. The marinated prawns were spot on and the sweet crunch of the carrots along with the ball pepper creating the next level of pleasant surprise.MainLamb chops, rolled cheese dumplings, seasonal vegetables, and roasted almonds. The lamb chops were cooked just right…not too well and not too rare.DessertRaspberry cheesecake. Thankfully the other courses allowed space for dessert to bring the meal to a happy end with a clean and simple cheesecake topped with fresh raspberries and powdered sugar. Perhaps an espresso would have been a finer finish but I will have to leave that test for a future visit. ?

Family owned and run establishment with wonderful hosts, who went out of their way to accommodate us. The space was recently renovated with amazing attention to detail and style. All of the food and drinks were delicious and beautifully presented. The sauna was thoughtfully designed and a nice surprise amenity to enjoy on a rainy evening.

Unique building, beautiful modern renovation with spacious kitchen and living/dining room combo. Bright, large bathroom with additional toilet/ half bathroom. All squeaky clean. The jacuzzi was great. Didn’t use the sauna but seemed equally lovely.

Without a car it would be a little bit far from local sights 5-15 mins depending. But worked out great for us

The Pira Hotel is stunning! The family room was perfect for two kids and two adults. The breakfast was incredible and the dinner equally as delicious. Everyone working there was helpful, thoughtful and kind. There are many things that are easy to access for entertainment in the area.

We loved everything from the gracious, helpful staff, to our beautiful rooms, to the excellent food and the country location. And the first night watching people celebrate with food, Croatian music and people singing and dancing. This is the Croatia we love to see.

It is a small hotel, more of a cozy guesthouse located in a village. During this period everything is green and especially beautiful. The hosts are welcoming, attentive to the needs of the clients. Perfect breakfast, if necessary, another meal is cooked. For us it was very tasty.The superior suite is an interesting mix of rustic, classic and modern. We felt very good, I recommend!

Absolutely amazing experience at Pira Hotel Postojna! Everything was perfect – from the impeccably designed and cozy rooms to the warm hospitality. But the highlight of our stay was definitely the bathtub in the middle of the room – pure perfection, creating a luxurious and relaxing atmosphere.The bath cosmetics were top-notch, carefully selected for a truly indulgent experience. And the breakfast and restaurant? A solid 10+! The food was simply outstanding, with fresh, high-quality ingredients and a fantastic selection. The entire dining experience was exceptional!One small suggestion: it would be great if the hotel provided slippers in the apartment, as we really missed them while enjoying the beautiful bathtub.The location is ideal, the staff incredibly kind and professional, and every detail is thoughtfully designed. Lovely new (open since 2 years) design boutique hotel located in a small village not far from Postojna caves. Lovely staff and magnificent room (we had 1 of the 2 upstairs suites). Dinner was delicious and reasonably priced. Breakfast was a buffet with varied and delicious offer. Would highly recommend.

The Pira hotel is actually in the middle of a village close to Postoina, so it is recommended to have a transport. Very calm and clean place. I am sorry we couldn't check the Pira restaurant but judging by the quality of the hotel it is supposed to also be a little gem. Our room was spacious, clean, warm enough for the winter season, well equipped. The staff is friendly and ready to support. Breakfast is also nice with an accent on local products.
