Waldhotel

The staff were very nice. The bed was comfortable and the room had a balcony.

There was no coffee machine in the room, or any 'pantry' areas on any floor where you could get a drink in the morning. Instead, there was a machine for dispensing beer or cola, but this only took money and no card payments. The bathroom had no shower screen around the bath so it was easy to flood the room. But luckily the shower was just too weak for much water to go anywhere.The TV was a simple one with just a few German channels, nothing like a smart tv with casting ability.Breakfast was simple with no options for vegans, but the staff ensured that it didn't run out.

Stuffs are extremely good. The breakfast was too good. Room was well equipped and decorated. They always took care off cleanliness. Nice location with forest environment. Mainz is easily reachable by bus and the bus stop is just few meters away. Everything is same as in the photo.

No coffee machine or electric kettle facility in the room. Have to come ground floor to have coffee or tea. I suggest them to think about providing a coffee machine or electric kettle in the room.

Room was spacious and confortable with a balcony, breakfast was very good with attentive staff

The lack of accessibility for disabled guests, in particular in the bathrooms. When asked at reception for a accessible bathroom were told that the hotel does not encourage taking bookings from disabled people and therefore has no facilities to accommodate disabilities, not even a small stool to place in a bath or a shower. As a result my wife who is an amputee ad an accident and slipped getting in and out of the bath.

Clean, nice quiet location, bed was comfy. For 2 nights ok, very friendly staff

The hotel is rather old and worn-down. The bathroom was clean but so small even sitting on the toilet was a challenge. The shower doors wouldn't close properly which led to water everywhere in the bathroom. The room was ok for 2 nights but I would definitely not call it a "deluxe" room, under no circumstances. The title is misleading. It is nothing more than basic, therefore too expensive for what it was.

Old and in need of an upgrade

The room looked old and there was mould in the shower. The water kept on spraying on the floor from the shower, and the ceiling had huge holes in them. The bed was ok, but we were missing pillows - only 1 per person. Thought we had booked with breakfast, but was told we had to pay extra for it ! The heating took a long time to heat up.

Parking

Very noisy from the other rooms and espiacially toilets. When I arrived the room was cold. The heating was closed.

Enough parking spaces, Christmas lights on the building, friendly personnel, good breakfast, vending machines, warm room and comfy bed.

The pump of heating or some appliances are very loud on the floor where I've been. Woke me up several times at the beginning. The blinders could not darken the room properly.

Location, parking, beer garden and restaurant, everything perfect!

Rooms need a renovation! But it was clean and quiet, I will return!

Location is nice, altho we just used it as a pas through to Switzerland, it was perfect for this.

The room itself was not bad, the bathroom could use some attention tho for example the ventilation shaft didnt had any cover.

Nice, comfortable room with a good shower and balcony. There’s a reasonably priced restaurant on site for an evening meal and separate room for breakfast, which was ok. Parking is free in the huge car park and check in was simple. Very peaceful at night.

The location to the airport is good - about 40 minutes but that depends on the traffic. We enjoyed the breakfast. No A/C but a fan was in the room. The room remained quite warm while the outside was cool. comfortable bed and good shower.
