Pros +
- Rooms are compact, toilet and shower are split apart.
- Overall ambience, Staff & Location, close access to new Ski Lift that goes directly to Meribel.
- Clean hotel and the location
Cons -
- No fridges in the room.
- The decor in the corridors, in particular the carpet is just out-dated, over stimulating, like carpet you would see in a creche
- The hotel looks like a student hostel, the restaurant close according to the number of guests ! They said it close by 10:30 but in reality it’s before that . Maybe because the season has not started yet

Breakfast very good quality
Interior furniture and doors hugelly outdated and broken A particular smell of mould in old bulding was inside the hotel and the rooms Very cold in the room mainly because the radiator was very old and clogged so that it only warmed on a small pipe of it I had to sleep with my ski hood on as I felt cold on my head over night I’ve never seen such poor interior accomodation in a hotel rated as 4* From this perspective it cannot be more than 2* hotel Really bad interior and cold room
Breakfast good, but always the same and gluten free bread was limited
Stating eco credentials to save staff time and money. Paper cups rather than reusable china cups.
Breakfast, large and clean room, nice hotel, billard, good restaurant, close to Courchevel
Price is relevantly affordable and competitive level for this area, but still an expensive hotel.
Perfect location right in the centre of Brides, only a few minutes walk to the gondola up to Meribel. There is free public parking just behind the hotel. Staff very friendly and triple room was huge! Also didn’t have to check out until midday on departure day. Decor is a bit tired and 4* is definitely a stretch, but it’s a great value place to stay.
The shower was terrible - positioned way too low on the wall and there is only half a shower screen so water went all over the floor every time!
The staff here are great Remi our man on the desk was so friendly and helpful - he should be used as an example to train other staff. The Lovely ladies in the restaurant at breakfast were great. Our cleaning lady was helpful . The views from the rooms can be quite spectacular. Good location only a short walk to the lift. (there is only 1, re strange "bonus question") Very good selection at breakfast - 2 coffee machines less waiting .(less than pervious owners)
The whole place is showing its age - nothing major - threads, paint chips , spot of rust , a screw missing here and there, odd aromas here and there. We hope that the new owners will invest and make the place really nice. It is a grand old hotel from the early days and it would be a shame to see it run down.
space location
ski locker room was not cleaned when we were there, it was very old, no heating to dry out kit, ski locker room was most disappointing part of the hotel
Location and helpfulness of the friendly staff. Clean bedrooms and bathroom and a decent size. Room service do not attend during your stay and the towels are not changed unless requested. This is an understandable cost saving measure. There is free parking around the back and underneath the hotel. The proximity to some nice little restaurants and bars is good, but would be exhausted if staying for a full week; 3-4 nights is ideal. At €18 per person, the cost of the breakfast seemed a little steep so we never bothered. Instead, we got some fresh panel chocolate and freshly squeezed orange juice from the spa each morning for less than €4 each.
A little dated, but more than adequate. To note : It is a 25 minute gondola ride up to the slopes, but this is offset by cheaper accommodation compared to staying in Meribel.
fair hotel, nice staff and location is "easy" to ski
bads could be bigger
Horrible. It was the worse experience that we had in the French Alps. It’s not a 4* hotel. It’s a 1 star. We get sick from the cold on the first night because it was COLD in the room. My face was freezing. We asked for an extra electrical heating and for 3 days they promised that we will get one. After they just told us: NO. We asked for an extra blanket: NO again. The front desk - doesn’t exist. There are 2 girls and 1 boy that treat the guest with zero respect limiting with racism. The hotel itself it’s OLD. VERY OLD. Nothing it’s like on photos. We don’t recommend. They made our vacation a real nightmare. We stayed on medication for all 7 days. Just find another place to stay.

Room was great and bed was so comfortable . Great size shower !
Breakfast was worst ever ! Nothing left when we got there and very poor selection !
Bad
Disgusting breakfast with spoiled food, no cleaning and change of towels in 4 star hotel. The receptionists were good, however management did not solve the problem.
Nothing major had changed now they were under new owners. The breakfast was not as good. But this was because we knew what it was like last year. It was as good as most hotels.
We arrived 3 days later than booked and they didn't charge us
Changes under new ownership: spa permanently closed (it was available at the time of booking), breakfast not as good as previous years, fridges removed from rooms, **** should be reviewed
Cost-effective area to stay for the three valleys
Hotel was very tired looking internally bad smells in room coming from extractor fans double bed very small and bathrooms need some TLC
Location
Have stayed before and always enjoyed hotel breakfast drink in the bar and the spa This time didn’t enjoy anything and the spa has been closed which I had not been made aware of The change in brand has significantly impacted the hotel and its facilities and it is now soulless There are better out there
Centrally located close to the lift although the queue for the lift was very long in the morning. Staff were all lovely especially the ladies in breakfast who ran the service between the both of them, checking people in. Clearing and settings tables and replenishing the breakfast items.
They ran out of eggs and croissants at breakfast a few times. The rooms are only cleaned every 3 days. Although ours was cleaned twice in 5 nights, our friends room wasn’t cleaned at all in 5 nights.
Room size was pretty big.A heater in the bathroom.
1. In the first 5 minutes after entering the room I realized, that the toilet was broken (water came from it outside on floor), also the exhaust fan completely CAME from the wall when I pulled the switcher (a small rope coming from the fan). The hotel personnel was immediately noticed about that. But he sad, that a plumber will come only tomorrow. The next day about 2 pm the receptionist called me and said that he offers me to move to other room. I said that I can move to other room only in 1-2 hours, but he said that it is impossible and I should do it now. I refused. 2. A restaurant in the hotel forbad me to take wine in the room.3. In the check out day I could find the receptionist for about 20 minuted at midday.4. In the booking confirmation it was said, that there will be slippers and wardrobes in the room. But in fact there weren't.
