    Great staff. Amazing facilities

Wifi was quite bad in most areas. Shuttles to the ski lift and back were not frequent enough

This place exceeded our needs. It met all the needs we had and offered more. We are definitely coming back with our daughter.

I could hear the music in my room past 10pm and from 7am onward.

Staff, Spa, Rooms, Theatre, Nibbles between 5-7, Buffet dinner

Lifts badly designed .. too small and don’t got from top to bottom Location … just a bit outside of town. Charging 10pp after 7pm is excessive

    10EllaPosted on: 3-17-2025

    Beautiful setting and great location

You need to remember to pre-book the spa everyday to ensure you can use it and the rooms are very loud

    9AlexandraPosted on: 3-11-2025

Wonderful staff who couldn’t do more to help us with everything throughout our stay. Special thanks to Sara on the Experience desk who was very solutions focused and helpful when we had a problem with a ski mix up. The buffet was very varied and good. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. Room was comfortable and well equipped. Ski in ski out facility was very convenient, as was alternative shuttle.

We emailed about ski hire in advance and didn’t get a response and on our first morning we weren’t able to hire at the hotel due to a power outage, which was mildly inconvenient. It would be nice to have conditioner as well as shampoo.

Great location , it is very easy to get to the slopes. You just jump on the “tapis roulant” and then ski to the gondola. The hotel is very clean and beautiful! Fantastic views of the mountains!Federica & Magnana at the front desk were extremely friendly and made our stay a dream!

Fantastic hotel a little out of the main town but well served by a continuous (free) shuttle bus service throughout the day. The hotel is large and communal areas got pretty busy at peak times during school holiday week but there was a relaxed feeling throughout and the rooms are very comfortable with good facilities such as a fridge, kettle and coffee machine. The hotel gym, spa and pool are all excellent - good equipment and high standard facilities. Excellent massage treatments available. Extensive buffet available for breakfast, dinner and a post ski afternoon tea - delicious and plentiful food of many different types - Italian, sushi etc. Very helpful staff particularly on the Events desk who helped us make lots of great reservations for lunch and dinners during our stay.

Limited storage in rooms - we could have done with some more drawer space for storing clothes. WIFI was extremely slow late afternoon when everyone returned from the ski slopes. Breakfast buffet needs another coffee machine as there were long queues at peak times.

Being told that you could not guarantee a twin bed. Being given a wristband to wear and no reason given as to why. Massive queue for ski rental and also really bad morning shuttle availability. Didnt have any alternative skis to try when requsted. Room was too hot despite turning radiator off and leaving window open. Gou restaurant didn't have our booking despite me showing them an email confirmation and then main courses didn't arrive at the same time. Lockers didn't work properly and not enough keys while 3 lockers we had were all a significant distance apart from each other. Poor quality bread (from packets), rarely any whole milk available or tea pots. Too much queueing for coffee machines. Buffet price of Euro 60 ridiculous. Shuttle bus stopped at 7pm so you were forced to pay 10 Euro per person for a 2 minute journey or try to get a taxi (only Euro 30) or walk. Other hotels we have stayed in run the shuttle until 10pm (White Angel) for free. Nowhere quiet to work, WIFI poor, soap not replaced and dispenser didn't fit to the wall properly so had to remove it. Its a great ski area and this hotel could be way better. Right now, despite the friendly staff it does not come close to justifying its 5 star description. I would rather stay at The Europa which is 25% cheaper. Lots of other guests disappointed with what they were getting which is a shame.

Beautiful facility and very nice helpful and friendly staff. Really recommend to go for the half board plan or all inclusive.

The cost of extras in the hotel is quite high :( better to take all included in the plan.

    10LuisPosted on: 1-14-2025

staff need more preparation, restaurant to slow.. buffet great, but in general everything good in the hotel

    3WojciechPosted on: 1-8-2025

Direct elevator from ski room to ski-in/ski-out slopes. There is, however, a "magic carpet" that fails frequently. Don't know if it is run by the hotel.

TL;DR: A 3-start hotel for the price of a 7-star1. Booked a suite with 2 sinks, but got only one. We were told not to trust the photos on their booking.com page. Asked for change or refund, but no response.2. A XX century WiFi, very poor, connection suspends without a reason every 30-60 minutes. Then one has to enter all credentials again. Can't have 2 devices on one email but fake@anydomain works.3. The staff does not know what's the size of a wine-glass in the wine line, and it is not shown there either. They said it's should be 125 ml but we've got no more than 70 ml. The same wine was priced 95/bottle 375 ml and 18/glass. If the glass were 125 ml, it would be much cheaper to get by glass then the whole bottle. The staff has a common idiom "we will double check" which is Italian for F/O. Nobody every returned after making a commitment to double-check.4. Cleaning staff poor, and the least is the mere fact that they don't understand a rudimentary English. We had to directly ask for everything: clean espresso machine of coffee-pods, add napkins, add liquid soap, add cotton pads/buns, etc. Even leaving empty napkins box on the [single] sink didn't help them get the idea of refilling. 5. There is a loud rock musing going every evening in the lobby that spreads all over the hotel. A very disturbing event that resembles an on-the-slope apres ski. 6. The hotel is relatively new but poorly designed. A lot of open spaces that cause a constant flow of cold air from the frequently opening main door up to the restaurants. There is no elevators for the guests from the lobby. One has to walk up the stairs one level. The elevators are very small - like for 2 guest and their bags max.7. The NY Eve dinner was extra EUR 250 obligatory and worthless.

The only 3 things positive about the property in my opinion were:1. The ski room where the staff (especially Mr. Beppe) were very very helpful and the equipment was of top quality.2. The Spa - which was lovely but came with a caveat of being able to use it only for 1 hour a day!3. The restaurant Gou - which was a fine dine - and gave us at least some good food through our stay.

There’s a huge list:1. It is rated as a 5 star. We have stayed in 100s of 5 star resorts - and I can very confidently say that this is not a 5-star from any angle. You will see why from my list below.2. Location - shuttle service from hotel to the 2 possible ski areas is very inconvenient. Every evening we would wait after skiing for 30-40 min for the shuttle to arrive and after 7pm they would charge us 10 Euro per head (including children) for the shuttle. Which 5-star resort charges for a shuttle that is a 2 min ride? Also whenever we asked the reception about why the shuttle took so long in the evening - their excuse was “traffic” - while we could clearly see that on a 2 min route there was no traffic at all - they just did not have enough shuttles to ferry the number of people they had staying at the hotel. Skiing is what we went for and the experience to and from the slopes should be seamless which is absolutely was not.3. Staff - Rude, not wanting to listen and racist. On multiple occasions the staff was extremely rude to us and we faced the same issues daily which means that they would just not listen. We had complains about the wifi, heating, food, shuttles tourism desk, ski passes (all detailed below) which we spoke to them about from day 1 or 2 but remained unresolved till the end.4. Spa - first of all which 5- star hotel in the World has limited and restricted spa entry to common areas like Jacuzzis, steams, saunas and pools? First place I’ve come across that gave us only 1 hour a day. The spa was excellent but we had made a booking everyday at 5pm which also they forgot to enter in their system and when the staff changed they had no record of it. We were told the spa is full even when we could see it was empty.5. WiFi - the worst wifi we have ever had anywhere including the depths of the African forest and the far reaches of Icelandic interiors.

The property does not give a feel of a 5 star , at the most a club med. Extreme bad service , tiny rooms, WiFi does not work , heat in the room is controlled by reception and room temperatures at 27 degrees . Bathroom shower areas get clogged .

    Mentioned above

    10MichellePosted on: 12-28-2024

The cozyness, the modern but alpine look. The attention of all the staff. The shuttle Service, the skyroom, the shows too.Everything.

That you had to make reservations for dinner, and had to go to a specific restaurant mostly.

    8LiatPosted on: 12-24-2024

Some people from personnel were hospitable. The drivers to ski lifts helpful and nice.

Rundown corridors, and elevators. Not a big variety of food at bar, So if you don't want to spend 60 pp on buffet you need to go out. Water temp at spa a bit cold. Woke up some nights due to noise, very bad insulation.

    9LebPosted on: 12-23-2024

spa facilities are great, one of the best spa facilities ive seen.. ski rental facility is top notch, and the staff over there are very friendly and helpful.

the WiFi is horrible, you need to sign in every 15 min, elevators are really inconvenient, too small, too slow , and u can not go to to the 1st floor without taking 2 elevators. buffet is nice but way overpriced.

    6SamPosted on: 12-20-2024

The hotel is in a good location, away from the main town but peaceful. There are regular minibuses to take you to the centre and the ski lifts (the run that takes you to the hotel was not open during my stay). The breakfast and dinner is good - huge amount of choice. The spa and pool is really lovely.

It’s an expensive ‘luxury’ hotel that isn’t as luxury under the surface - it’s more of a very good ‘family’ hotel than anything. The rooms are too hot and it’s difficult to control the temperature, the WiFi is very patchy, some of the reception desk staff are very unhelpful (I asked for help to fill the water tank of my rental car and they told me to go to town and buy a bottle of water!!). I had to ask several times for other things that I needed sorting. All the staff in the ski hire shop are lovely and very helpful as are most of the dining room staff. I also asked for a late checkout and they said it was available but they would still charge me. I would expect for the amount of money you pay for a room that they would be more flexible about things like that.
