Clean comfortable room, good shower, desk, good sized wardrobe. Very friendly and helpful staff. Secure parking, easy walk into lovely historic Périgueux. Perfect for overnight stay or longer. No issues with early checkout for onward journey.

Room at front of property - a little bit of road noise occasionally but this was minimal and not obtrusive with window and shutter down.

Air conditioning and roller shutters, comfortable bed. All made for a very good night’s sleep

There was a smell down stairs of cooking fat

The room was super clean, very comfortable bed, bathroom looked brand new! Very peaceful& quiet. We had a poolside room & the pool was also really nice & very clean. The staff were extremely welcoming & friendly.

Some areas looked a little dated & in need of a little updating.

The pool is very nice and the breakfast is excellent. There is aircon in the bedrooms which came in handy when we visited! The owners are extremely nice. Couldn’t have been better!

Great location Loec and Celine were really helpful. The secure parking for the bike was also welcome To have a pool when the afternoon temperature was in the mid 30s was also a plus.

This was a two day stopover,travelling down to the south of France. The owners are relatively new, and are systematically improving the facilities, starting on the rooms, which were not large but spotless clean, and comfortable. A great shower with lots of pressure!We had bikes and the owner found us a secure place to store them.The owners we exceptionally friendly and gave as many tips for visiting the town and our onward journey.The secure parking gave us peace of mind allowing us to keep a lot of our luggage in the car.

Externally, the property is currently a little run down, which did initially cause us some concern when we arrived, however our concerns disappeared when we went to the rooms. Once the rooms have been refurbished then the owner plans to start on the external facilities.

Good breakfast with super crispy croissants and chocolatines. Very friendly hosts. Secure parking and very reasonable prices. Short walk into the city center. Rooms are cosy, too.

The owners were so welcoming and friendly. The rooms were not large but were very comfortable. Having parking available was great. Breakfast was great and fresh. I plan to visit again next time in the area.

Place needs more care and maintenance both in the rooms as in the common areas

Lovely and welcoming staff. Very reasonable prices. Good breakfast for France (crispy croissants & chocolatines!). Secure parking. Pool area with drink service. Pets allowed and comfy rooms with air-conditioning. Also, it is only a short walk to town. There really isn't anything to complain about! It looks very unassuming from the street outside, but you'll be pleasantly surprised!

Touring France I wanted a pool for excercise. Le Relax has this but like many other aspects it’s a bit in need of TLC. However, this is underway with the new owners who are very enthusiastic about the project. The room by the pool was comfortable ( maybe two pillows would be nice) modern bathroom and aircon. The 10 min walk into Perigeuex is not long but nor is it scenic, however once in the centre it’s beautiful with lots of restaurants.

Not in a stunning location but good to have parking outside.

Nothing actually. We informed the staff that we will come late for check in. When we arrived we could not find the box to enter the password to get in the premises. Then the responsible staff heard our noise and he shouted and said that this is crazy that we arrived very late and he was very angry. I tried to explain that we are travelling with a small kid and therefore we arrived late but he continued to say here is France, you can not come that late and so on etc… we did not feel comfortable

For the money the hotel is very old and should be renovated we could not even lock our door
