Hotel Seeburg is a true gem on Lake Brienz near Interlaken. Stunning lake and mountain views, spotless and comfortable rooms, and a delicious breakfast make it unforgettable. My friend and I stayed at this hotel for 6 days while hiking through the Swiss Alps. From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality made us feel like part of the family. The owners Pater and Shiva, take immense pride in preserving the hotels beauty. Their passion for hospitality runs deep. One of our highlights was the amazing breakfast served every morning. Fresh, local ingredients were the star from homemade jams and fresh baked breads to selection of cheese, cold cuts, seasonal fruits, eggs , hash browns and grilled vegetables. They even served the best salmon tartare. Each mornings spread was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented, giving us the perfect start to our day. Whether you’re here to explore the nearby hiking trails, take a boat ride across the lake, or simply relax in serene surroundings this hotel offers a perfect balance of nature, comfort and authentic Swiss heritage. When we left we were greeted by the owners with a special gift of Swiss chocolate. I truly can’t say enough how amazing this hotel was. 10 out of 10.

Loved everything about this hotel

Loved my stay here! The view was stunning, the hotel was lovely, and the breakfast had so many tasty options. The rooms were super clean too. Would definitely come back!

The hotel was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was also delicious. On top of that, the hotel's surroundings and outdoor areas by the lake were very pleasant and inviting. For all these reasons, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. A big thank you to the entire staff for such a lovely visit!

For an even more comfortable experience, the hotel could consider replacing the metal chairs on the balcony with foldable sun loungers. That said, the balcony was still very pleasant, and the view from it was beautiful.

So close to grindewald, Murren, Interlaken and outdoor activities yet secluded in a beautiful unmatched scenery and peacefulness. the rooms had A/C (needed in July). the beddings were luxurious, the hotel was pristine in spotless, smelled wonderful and run by the very nice and professional staff. we were there for 4 days and they ended up being one of our best stays of our lives.

If i can add 10 stars i’ll do .. best piece of heaven managed by the most professional couple (this what we can call perfection) big clean rooms very safe and view on the lake far from noise (much needed for a break from very high stressful job) and the transportation very easy they’ll offer you the guest card that gives you free shuttle transportation coming every half an hour with discounts on the fairy.. i really wish to go there again

The View from our room is priceless. How I wish I can stay there forever. The peace. The quietness. The serenity. The best hotel we stayed. Words can’t explain the emotion we feel while we were there. They have the best breakfast. Peter is great with his customers. Highly recommend this place!!

The walk from hotel to main street is uphill. But we don’t mind doing our exercise that way

The hotel staff were very kind, the room facilities were excellent, and the rooms were exceptionally clean and neat. The view from the hotel was spectacular, and we truly enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was also delicious. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Nothing really!

The staff was amazing! There was a girl that was SO lovely, always attentive to our request. The breakfast was AMAZING! Super complete! The view al location was everything!

The room was small although we boom the bigger one with lake view. The bathroom was extra small, very difficult. The restaurant have very few options to eat, only 3 sandwich’s.

This place was great! We had a lovely view from our room! Room was comfortable, staff was helpful and we hope to return.

The location is excellent but it’s a little uphill walk to the bus station.

The breakfast is so good. The owners are the sweetest, most helpful people. The location is beautiful.

The only thing to be aware of is after you reach the train station you have to take a bus and then walk to the hotel. The walk could be hard for some people.

It was like a dream.The location, the room and balcony all were perfect.

The staff were extremely friendly. We arrived around 1 p.m. for check-in, and the lady at the front desk woke up from her sleep to check us in. They gave us discount cards and many good sightseeing recommendations, and even a very tasty bar of chocolate upon check out. The front restaurant area is a dream. Best view out of any hotel in Switzerland we stayed at. Highly recommend.

An amazing property situated next to Ringgenberg pier. Great staff, service exceeded expectations. The surprise was the "garden". Awesome setup overlooking Lake Brienz. Will definitely recommend this property for a long/short stay.

The garden was wonderful and the breakfast was really good, I loved that you could boil your own eggs. The owners and staff were personal and friendly.

The room could use an upgrade to modern style, but was clean and really spacious. I wish more rooms had balconies.

The location is amazing, right at the lThuner See. You can have breakfast of snacks throughout the day and evening right the waters edge in a nice gardn setting. There is no restaurant in the hotel but we got snacks and wine (from a small but good wine menu) served very nicely even after midnight. There is a very good restaurant within walking distance (12 min) with great food, a wide wine selection and a very good local beer (from the tap). Parking is limited but additional spaces are available behind the hotel through a gate accessible only for guests. This is is important because there is a pier for the ships operating on the lake out front and some people try to park there to go on a (very nice) cruise. Meeting another car on the way there on the steep, narrow road is a definite challenge because one of the cars has to back up, no passing each other. Speaking of traffic: accessing locations in the local mountains is perfect. Instead of booking a very definitely wayy overpriced hotel in Grindelwald this was a perfect choice. The scenic drive took just 25 min.

The rates for rooms overlooking the lake are Swiss-typical eye-watering.

Hotel located at bottom of steep hill, so need to walk up to bus stop or train station, no hot food on menu

The Hotel is right on the water. Amazing view of the lake from our room window. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The breakfast was fantastic. It’s very quiet which makes it easy to relax. Shuttle bus from the hotel every half hour into Interlaken made it easy to go out and explore each day. The owner was very friendly and personable. Couldn’t get any better!
