Absolutely stunning views. Room was spotless and updated. So close to Interlaken

The staff are very accommodating including the owners of the property, rooms are neat and tidy, we got the best view of Lake Brienz.

Location, restaurant and staff were all amazing. We can't wait to come back.

The views, the quite place, the cow bells, the beauty. it can't be described. this was the last part of our trip, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in interlaken ost and the hotel. the brienz boat station is in the hotel itself, so not to worry of going anywhere.

The hotel is well located, with a great view on the lake and mountain!

The staff at the reception (the man) is not really welcoming nor friendly…for a first impression of the hotel, it is surely not the best!

Perfect location! Easy access to the Marina and Bus stop. Breakfast was great! Bathroom was clean and looks new.

No air conditioning and the pillows were bad. In addition, I had a very bad experience with the receptionist named “Nicole”. I asked her politely with one question about the boat schedule and she gave me an attitude. She made me feel I was disturbing her. She wasn’t doing anything at that moment. Hopefully the owner of this hotel (family-owned) will see this review as this is totally unacceptable. Nicole definitely needs some customer service training.

-Location is pretty, few steps from bus stop.Overlooking the lake-Bathroom is modern, love the shower. -It has an option to eat in the hotel itself, we did our dinner which was excellent although the guy that served was doing agressive upselling repeatedly.-Bed was good for sleeping & we had a quiet night- Room has a balcony which give you a view to the lake. Hopelly no smoker as neigbour so you can sit comfortably-Breakfast was sufficient for regular cold food options

-Wasnt welcoming from our experienced during check in.There was nobody except us to check in, no que of guest but was such a feeling of hurry and there was like shouting to give instruction to a worker in between.Client service should be given priority after we came from a long trip and tired.-Agressive upselling from the restaurant guy during our dinner-Breakfast, only one coffee per person?You cant get it yourself.

The Strandhotel Restaurant Iseltwald is a charming retreat on the shores of Lake Brienz, offering stunning views and a tranquil atmosphere in the Bernese Oberland . The hotel features a beautiful lakeside terrace where we enjoyed delicious meals with the local lake pike being a highlight amongst the fish dishes. Our room at the top had a gorgeous lake view and a small balcony under the roof The hotel is perfect for a peaceful getaway with its excellent dining and picturesque setting. It was our second stay here and we are already looking forward to coming back again to Iseltwald

The hotel staff are generally very polite but a little more attention to friendly customer service from the hotel owner would be welcome. We hope to come back many times as the hotel is truly one of our favourites so we look forward to experiencing another enjoyable and entertaining stay next year

Stunning location, view from balcony and room, tea and coffee facilities, cleanliness, peaceful, parking and reception was great.

Overpriced restaurant, and although breakfast was sufficient, it could've been better with more choice.

Balcony with view of the lake was fantastic. Room was clean and bathroom was modern. Waking up to the breathtaking view and having a drink on the balcony in the evening gave us some unforgettable moments.

Breakfast could be better and coffee did not taste good at all. There is an extra charge if you want cooked eggs or bacon. We've stayed in hundreds of hotels and have never seen this. Mattress was not so comfortable.

Breakfast was very basic but that’s seems to be a common theme in Switzerland. We were upgraded to a corner room, where we had amazing beautiful views. It was a lovely little hotel and will definitely be coming back again.

Location close to bus ferry small shop and 25 minutes by bus to Interlarken.

An elderly staff was very rude when she saw me walking around the lobby. She must have thought I wasn't a guest at the hotel and blurted out a very condescending "CAN I HELP YOU?" when I was exploring the lobby. Quite unnecessary, and her attitude was just plain unpleasant.

The view was stunning to the lake, the location is excellent. The free parking was included.

Old fashion styled room. A lack of privacy in the balcony

The Views from the Hotel Strand were magnificant. Beautiful setting, nice and quiet with a cute little balcony to enjoy the lake views. The room was better then the pictures. Cozy with complimentary tea and coffee. The beds are firm like most of Europe which is what we like. The morning buffet was delicious with large variety. The staff was so kind and helpful. From here we explore Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, and Giessbach water fall. Definitely will be back to explore and hike in this area of Switzerland again. We were here beginning of May when all the spring wild flowers are in bloom.

Hotel and location is good. Reception desk staff needs to smile more and be friendly. Other staffs were good.

Perfect location!!! The staff was nice and helpful. The rooms are very spacious. The view on the lake from the hotel terrace or the room’s balcony is unbeatable!!

Bad and very rude hotel staff. They are also racist, so avoid this hotel if you can.
