Lovely hotel on the water. Staff was friendly and so accommodating. Our room was clean and spacious - overlooking the lake and mountains.

Great stay!The hotel is very clean and located right in the city center. The staff are always available and ready to answer any questions, which made the stay very comfortable.Perfect place to stay — highly recommended!

The hotel staff are very nice, thoughtful, friendly and helpful, especially at breakfast. We booked the family room with a balcony overlooking the lake. The view is wonderful and a peaceful reading time for 10min can heal everything. The hotel also has limited parking and chess set for kids to play.

Service could have been better in the onsite Italian restaurant, our only disappointment there.

Excellent hotel! The view from our room was breathtaking. The staff were courteous and the rooms were plenty big enough. Very clean and I would gladly stay here again!

Nice staff, The breakfast was nice. Overall the place is very clean but dated. We stayed in what I presume was a 1980's addition to the facility. The views of the lake were spectacular and it is located in a very quiet area.

No shower option for the room we stayed in. Only a tub. Room was dated but very clean

The staff were so nice and happy to have you stay with them. Madeleine is such a professional and nice person to deal with in all Switzerland and Rute was a great person as well and the place is such a memorable place and I highly recommend it.

This hotel in Bonigen, a small village 10 minutes drive to Interlaken. The hotel is a bit old, but the view was absolutely breathtaking… directly overlooking the lake. The view stole my heart! The village itself is charming and peaceful.. with lovely local activities to enjoy in the lake. There is a free bus takes you to the center of interlaken. Overall, everything felt magical,, would love to come back again.

Considering the great view. I can’t say anything except it would be great if this old hotel get better maintenance or revamp. Otherwise, the view worth everything..

The location was beautiful and right next to the lake. Breakfast was very nicely handled and organized. The staff at the hotel were friendly while the staff at the pizza place seemed like they didn’t like tourists

It was a bit from downtown Interlaken so had to rely on the bus to get to the restaurant and shops area.

Breakfast was very poor given the cost (and compared to other premium priced hotels in Berner Oberland).

The view from the balcony overlooking Lake Brienz is absolutely breathtaking.I genuinely don’t think there’s a place on Earth that could match it, or even come close. It left me speechless. Words fall short, and my vocabulary isn’t enough to give it justice.With that view, the cleanliness and design of the room made it feel like a dream. Every piece of furniture was exactly where it should be; more than comfortable, perfectly placed, and spotless.I still can’t believe I had the privilege of spending four nights there. The bus stop is immediately in front of the hotel, which made everything super convenient. The hotel also has two excellent restaurants and is located right in the middle of all the places I wanted to visit.The staff went above and beyond, warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly.The kayak school was right next door, and the breakfast… the cheeses alone deserve a whole review of their own.The whole experience cannot be described in a short review.When I return to Switzerland and Interlaken, I will absolutely stay here again. Every second I spent in that room, with that view and atmosphere, felt surreal; like a dream, with a balcony in heaven.Everything was beyond perfect.

Exceptionally Beautiful location. Friendly, helpful staff. Restaurant adjacent is good and gracious. Bus to interlaken or lake brienz cruise right in front of the hotel.

Loved being on the lake. The breakfast was wonderful, a very large variety of items all delicious.

The location to town was a bit too far to walk but the bus was free and ran regularly. The only other great option would have been if the property had bikes to rent.

What an amazing stay we had at this Hotel. ALL the staff were so welcoming. The food was amazing (chateaubriand for 2) at dinner our first night!!! Jenny and Jean Paul we meet the first night and they are amazing!! Every morning breakfast was wonderful. We could not have been any happier. Stephen, the managers very accommodating.

Excellent location. Very good restaurants. Free upgrade to suite facing the lake was a very pleasant surprise.
