The hotel has lots of character

This place needs modernization. You practically need a step ladder to get into the bathtub, for example. And the breakfast was stingy.

It's a lovely old building but needs a bit of renovating.

Location right next to the harbour and nice breakfast.

Maintenance level a bit low.

Beautiful historic building overlooking the harbour, inside, tal ceilings, the room we had was fortunate to have a balcony , the bed was so comfortable, the bedding and sheets white, loved the natural wood smoothed floor boards white walls it was simple and comfortable. Loved the shorter bath with the deep bit. The owner was incredibly friendly, he recommended places to visit, how to get there, where we could hire bikes, and served up an incredible buffet breakfast, a broad selection. We would go back.

The drain is located almost directly under the shower, and then comes the shower curtain.

The hotel is privately owned and the owner and staff are very kind and supportive. The room furniture and bathroom do not fulfil modern standard but are clean (obviously the mattress was exchanged and new), the breakfast room is cosy, and the breakfast served is well. The TV connection is a bit inventive but both TV and WLAN worked well. The program selection is broader as in many higher standard hotels. Despite of obviously necessary reconstruction of the whole building it was a "hyggeli" stay, and upon departure it felt like leaving friends.

The bathroom was equipped with towels. Any other facilities (ie shower gel, hairdryer etc.) were missing.

Very nice owner and staff whom made you feel welcome.

Room were not cleaned in 3 days. Garbage only emptied once. Room and especially the bathroom was worn down.

Great Hotel with a nice room and stunning view. Many good restaurants around the corner. Struff was very friendly and offered help

Lovely town, great hotel , the staff were so helpful and kind thay made me coffee to take with me very clean room lovey bed . Highly recommended place to stay.

The staff is very friendly and tries their best. The house has a lot of style and history.

The heating was not working and the bath rooms are very out of date.

The location close to the water is great! Very quiet in and around the hotel. Towels are provided. Lots of parking space. Large, comfy beds.

Given the price, I was hoping to find at least some basic, universal soap for showering that many similar hotels kindly provide. The window blinds could be a bit less light permissive.

Breakfast was good - I stayed as I was visiting friends in Skaelskor - location fine - bathroom size and layout unusual ( shower current enclosed the sink!!)

The staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. They really do their best to answer your request and it was the best part of my stay. The spot is also great

The hotel is literally falling apart, bathroom is from prehistoric ages as well as furnitures, electric plugs etc. definitely need some refresh

extremely expensive. have stayed here before and thus room had at last had new carpeting and perhaps new mattresses but the rooms are very basic and the bathrooms need renovating - but plenty of hot water. rooms clean.

Nice staff, clean and spacey rooms.The hotel is a time capsule. If you are familiar with the danish serie "Matador" this is it.God value for money.

Fine old building in a good position but looking a little tired from the outside

No one present when I arrived or throughout the evening - just a key box. I was the only guest in the hotel but was allocated a very poor room , meagrely decorated and sparsely appointed ( Ie no wardrobe ) right on the third floor with no Lift . No towels had been provided and despite a search none could be found. I mentioned this to the supposed Manager/ Owner in the morning and was told the cleaners were on holiday , hence the lack of towels . I pointed out it was her job to check such things !! Needless to say I won’t be back anytime soon.
