Breakfast was good

It was not transparent in the booking that the room was an outside Guest house building across the road called “Bergfels” which was misleading felt tricked. I mentioned on checkin receptionist told us that is what I booked. I wrote a text to the hotel to complain that was not transparent when booking. When I mentioned this to the owner the next day when paying she said she read my mail but did not care of my concerns as nobody ever complained. Made me feel like I was the stupid one. She gave impression not able to deal with negative customer feedback over estimating her management skills. She also did not care that we will not return is why I give lowest rating on staff friendly.

Breakfast was super! The personnel were polite and spoke English. The services at the hotel seemed very good! Free parking places near by the hotel.

The room got little hot because of the weather and there weren’t air conditioning. That wasn’t a big problem because you could open the windows for nighttime.

Everything was excellent, we spent one night here only, but we were totally satisfied with our room, service, and breakfast was excellent.

A wonderful hotel sitting under the ancient castle. In a quiet spot away from the bustle of the small town. Spotless and lovely bed. Fabulous friendly family and their staff nothing too much for them to help you enjoy your stay.

Well kept hotel. Location was good not far in car from Cochem. Very quite location. Rooms were clean, staff pleasant. Adequate parking free of charge.

The staff were very friendly, the room was spacious and comfortable and breakfast was very good. The location is close to everything but tucked away in a quiet street.

Comfortable room and bed. Staff were more than helpful and friendly. Nice breakfast. The local castle was on site and entrance was free for hotel guests!

The wifi was nonexistent in the room. The shower was very small.

Wonderful family owned and managed hotel. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. Rooms were clean, updated and very comfortable. Good location to explore all of Beilstein and surrounding areas of the Mosel River Valley.

Rooms facing road were quite noisy due to traffic speeding by.

The property is first class. Situated just off the main Mosel road with adequate parking space and an easy walk all around Beilstein. The property is well furnished, exceptionally clean and more than adequate. The facilities are first class with plenty of places to choose where to have a pleasant relaxing evening meal. Breakfast is included in the tariff and the choices are varied and the food exceptional.

There is nothing that I can say I didn’t like about the property

nice location and free entrance tickets to the castle (which we unfortunately couldn't use because we came 30 minutes before closing time and the attendant didn't let us in). The town itself is so pretty. At night when tourists were out (morning too) it was so nice to walk around and take pictures.

our balcony didn't have a "view". We were looking at a roof of another building when were sitting outside. But I wouldn't even consider it a negative aspect. In the end it's not Caribbean beach view we booked/expected.

The offer was valid for Hotel Burgfrieden but we had to stay in the much cheaper Guesthouse Burgfels opposite. So we payed almost the normal price charged for a room in the Guesthouse. We also had to pay more for the breakfeast (7 eur instead of 5 Eur) There was also charged 5 Eur extra for the room on a sunday and a saturday). We arrived on a sunday afternoon and we left on a saturday morning right after breakfast. In our opinion we where not treated correctly as far as the bill is concerned.

The pillows were air pillows. And so huge, not too comfortable, but ok.
