Pros +
- The setting is incredible
- Fantastic views and mountain hiking.
- The location was AMAZING.
Cons -
- No air conditioning in guest rooms.
- It was the most bland, austere, cold hotel. No pictures or decorations that would represent a PARADOR. The inside could have been a new, undecorated Marriott. Rooms were colorless, no prints or paintings. A huge missed opportunity.
- While the building and location were lovely and the staff were friendly, the hotel overall did not deliver on its promise or its price range. Challenges included (1) understaffed reception, resulting in long waits for check-in and to resolve issues; (2) housekeeping oversights, such as empty soaps/shampoos in the room;(3) disorganized and slow dinner service, which took multiple hours and still skipped once of the courses;(4) fundamental facility issues, such as a shower floor that was sloped such that water ran into the bathroom;(5) inaccurate advertising. We paid for more the junior suite on the promise that it included a hot tub; on arrival we learned that no rooms at this property have a hot tub (nor did our room even have a bathtub). It’s a shame as, at the core, this could be a really lovely hotel — but it really needs more staffing and to perhaps cut the dinner menu by half so they can deliver on it reliably.

Overall, this is a promising hotel in a beautiful location — excellent views of the waterfalls and mountains a lovely terrace to enjoy it. The building is beautiful, and our room (a junior suite) was spacious and clean. Breakfast had many good options, including eggs and bacon cooked to order. Overall, staff were friendly and tried to help.

The old fasioned style, the high proffessional level of rhe staff, the emazing location. Excellent anti slip floor in the bathroom. If you are not impressed by the new shining fake hotels, this establishment is the right thing.
Not much! Some minor mainrenace issues like a light bulb. We did not bother to complain.
The location, the surrounding views and the building are sufficient reasons to make the long drive here. even if you ignore the park, just standing on the top porch and looking at the views is sufficient.the rooms are comfortable and clean and other than the bed setup (see below) are excellent.but it’s the views and location which seals the deal - even from your rooms window.it’s worth it.
both our rooms, and from we understand the majority in this place, are 2 “twin beds” which basically means 2 single beds. my wife and I aren’t newly weds by any means, but that’s not a common setup nor an acceptable one.the restaurant is fine, but a little overhyped, especially at the price range. the town of Bielsa is by no means close so it may be your only option.
The location. The reception staff. The tranquility.
The heating. Much too hot. Sweltering and we couldn't turn it down. I had cataract surgery the week before and this made my eyes red and sore.No coffee or tea facilities in the room. This is the absolute basic hotel provision. The breakfast was poor for the price. No information about any hot food available. I asked for tortilla and it was lovely but none of the personnel offered to inform me what else was available. On Christmas Eve we want to the bar. It was open. No staff in attendance. We waited 20 minutes! The fire was dying so I put logs on. At Christmas, if the staff can't serve you as clients, then why was it open? We were finally attended by an unfriendly bartender, who obviously didn't want to be there. A shame.
Warm welcome and warm room in dark november evening arrival. Restaurant also good!
Shower in the wrong side of the bath is not comfortable and also not safe.
Wonderful location and excellent views from roomLovely lounge with fire.Very good restaurant.

Poor service from waiting staff and reception, not the responsiveness you would expect from such an expensive hotelMade to feel that we were a problem at breakfast, no spoons for cereal, had to ask for everything eg coffee, milk, salt, pepper and powdered orange juice really poor Furnishings very mismatched in terms of art etc. Does not have a welcoming feel about it. Thought we were getting rooms with a view - rooms 100 -102 have no views and are very darkDinner menu very complicated, not clear what is available in the bar
Wonderful location. Relaxing. Rooms excellent.
Restaurant staff bit stuck up
Location was excellent for views and trail access
Our room (in high price category) looked out over the back with kitchen noise and no AC so had to keep window open. The restaurant (which was the only one nearby) was awful, waitstaff was pitiful, kitchen was extremely slow and meals were not worth what we paid.
The location, high in the Pyrenees, is quite fantastic with water falls cascading down the towering snow capped mountains all viewed from your Hotel Window. We had a great room with separate lounge and large bed room and the usual Parador 2 sink bath room. Dinner was good with a varied selection.
The bar staff were less than helpful although it was a busy Sunday lunch time when we arrived.
Amazing location, lovely building.
The rooms were very hot- over 24c and I asked for a fan to be told you don't need one, the room will cool down on its own (no A/C). They were very flippant and could not care. We could not open the window as lots of flies came in when we did. So we spent a sweltering night sweating in bed to the point we dampened towels and put these on us to cool down. We love Paradors and this one was just not up to the usual level of service and customer care. At the end of the stay they got the bills all wrong and we had to wait 25 minutes for them to sort them (2 rooms/1 night /2 beers and 1G&T) not complicated! Save your money, drive along for the view and then stay in the town of Aiansa.
Stunning location
Thought it lacked atmosphere with staff a bit uninterested.Rooms ok but found bed uncomfortable and coffee machine not working. The cost of breakfast at €17 is very expensive. My wife and I are both light eaters at breakfast and this amount for powdered orange and a couple of pieces of bread is un realistic. Due to location there is nowhere else to go so it’s pay it or go without. In addition I asked for chocolate (drinking) and was told none available. I did mention this at reception with the only response being to include my comments in any review. So I have and here it is!
Location only
There were flies everywhere including the restaurant in the evening and in the morning settling on the breakfast buffet. No fly screens on the room windows so we couldn’t open the windows at night and no air conditioning so the rooms were unbearably hot. When I mentioned it all they said that they were aware. I would not stay at this hotel ever again.
Beautiful location, comfortable beds, and excellent evening meal.
Our bedroom on the north facing side was over the laundry vent. Thankfully quiet during the night but very active and noisy at other times. Breakfast was a bit of a shambles. Not enough on offer for the large number of guests and not enough waitresses.
This is the most beautiful property we have ever stayed! You are in the mountains, no noise, no crowds, amazing building and services!
Nothing was wrong.
Amazing location, comfortable room, friendly service, terrace overlooking the mountains
Fantastic views, lovely walks from the parador.A remote area but a very good road.We had a very comfortable room with a sitting room
There seemed to be a musty smell.
