Breakfast was good, but perhaps the vegetables could have been chopped or sliced to make it easier to serve and consume. Otherwise, it was conmesurable with the price and quality of the hotel. Good selection of bread, cheese, cold meats, eggs, cereal, yogurt, and a few other things. Healthy, natural, unprocessed foods are always better.

It was a great choice: all that we needed was available, the breakfast was good, the rooms were comfortable and clean.The staff was very friendly and helpful.The hotel is situated close to the center and also close to interesting touristic spots.

The soundproofing between rooms was less than ideal. I was awoken around midnight by my neighbours engaging in a rowdy discussion that went on for some time.

The room size is big and breakfast is decent

Lovely, clean and modern hotel with absolutely exceptional staff! Nothing was a bother, the staff was more than accommodating.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel is modern, everything is very well maintained, Great value for money, delicious breakfast, welcoming staff.

The restaurant it’s not working all day just mornings

As always, this hotel is clean, comfortable, and safe. Offers paid parking in the garage, you can bring your dog along for a fee. Staff is professional, the location is quiet. Wifi good.

When I arrived I was informed the restaurant is closed due to works. Wish this was shared before I arrived. After 13 hours of driving (and passing by numerous places to eat along the way) I was tired and ready to eat.

Very clean, near the old town center, beautiful view of the river and very good breakfast.

Hotel is nice may be the best in Gorlitz,Location is near to Poland border next to the river,walkable.to the city center,but u need some.vehicle if you are coming by train.

Toilet was not cleaned well.even after informing reception.Complementary water was kept in the room,but not refilled.

The location is fine--10 minutes' walk to the city. Half the rooms will have a nice view of the river. The staff member who checked us in was very friendly and helpful, and everyone else was friendly. The breakfast was nice. Free parking was a short walk away.

It's just a dreary aesthetic inside and out, like a cheap nursing home--plastic floors, plastic wall covering, harsh overhead lighting in the halls, and a dark narrow room with a low ceiling that the grey-brown-painted walls didn't help, with a view of parking lots. Everything was a bit scuffed and scratched. The bathtub had mildew and the toilet was stained yellowish.There was no wifi outside of the reception area. When I mentioned it the receptionist in passing as we left to visit the town, her response was, "Well, I can't do anything about it." I asked if she could just pass on the information, no big deal, and she said, "I can but it won't help--it's normal that it doesn't work here." The exchange was perfectly friendly, but it was just weird that they not only had no wifi but cheerfully admitted it usually doesn't work.The same utensils were recycled for several dishes at breakfast, so there were crumbs of meat in the chocolate crepes, for example.Maybe it's my naivety and everyone else knows not to trust the stars, but every 3-star hotel I've stayed in was cleaner and more attractive than this. And even campgrounds have wifi at this point... If this hadn't been advertised as a 4-star (superior!) hotel, then I wouldn't have been so disappointed--nothing here was terrible--but I'd never stayed in anything above 3 stars, hoped for a special experience, and was just sad and disappointed that this was so boring, dirty, and ugly.

Wonderfull staff very secure parking and lovely breakfast

Parkhotel Gorlitz is (as the name suggests) nicely located between the river and the Stadtpark, so it is in a very quiet environment. From the city center it is a short walk of about 20-30 minutes. The rooms were very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was large and comfortable. Wifi worked well and without problems. There is a water cooker and coffee/tea available in the room, which is always appreciated. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast offered a wide choice and was of good quality. The restaurant has enough space, so even with lots of people it did not feel crowded. There is a small gym with a few trainers (which we used) and a sauna (which we did not use). For parking you can use the garage (for a fee) or park quite near in the street (which we did). In all very recommendable.

There was not really anything not to like.

Breakfast was great. The cherry on top was that it was noticed by the Manager (don't remember her name unfortunately) that we had a small celebration, as it was our 9th Wedding anniversary. She was so lovely, she brought candles, a few extra sweets and a bottle of bubbles. It was a lovely gesture and made it very memorable. 11/10 stars for the attentive ness and special touch! ;-)The reception team was also very accommodation with last mintue request (Booking for breakfast and getting the sauna switch on at 8 am in the morning). Therefore our sincere gratitude to Mr Steven(?) Schmidt. ;-)

The Hotel team should invest a couple of thousand euros for decent equipment in the small fitness studio. 2 out of 3 pieces of equipment aren't working properly and should be disposed off. The entire Hotel is definitely worth 4* and the Hotel staff even 5*, but you are letting yourself down on the equipment. Try it yourself and see if you would be satisfied with it.

Clean and room was was a good size

Only one small pillow per person. Breakfast was chaotic and not enjoyable.

Delightfully quirky bedroom - comfortable and clean - just what you need when travelling.

Wonderful host and lovely children ! We hadn’t booked dinner but it was no problem.

Staff were very helpful. Food and beverage also.

The mattress’s could be more comfortable.

Large room

They gave us the key card for a room and when we opened it somebody else was already inside. As most people can imagine that was super awkward. We did not even a simple „sorry“ for the situation and when we then finally got the correct room there was an old glass of sausage in the fridge.Furniture was ok but definitely not 4 Stars, same for the breakfast. Additionally many armed and armoured police is stationed in the hotel so first thing that we saw when we arrived where crates of granades (!) and rifles.
