Good budget option in the historical centre of Görlitz.Good communication with the staff for late check in
Kitchen in the room wasn't usable
The behavior of the staff. I asked Wifi to buy for 3 Euro per day i had to wait until the owner come to generate password he came at 5pm and it was supposed to be for 24 hours.I called them to inform that i will arrive in the end of the check in time he was giving me so many information with code to get the keys and he said that he will send me massage with the password bit he did not send anything and he asked me to do not call him at night .by the way i was choosing this hotel because it has the latest check in time but it is not true. They were not friendly at all
Huge room. Biggest I've had in Europe. Very comfortable bed too. Great location, just across the river (border) to Zgorzelec and close to the centre of Görlitz. The male receptionist was very nice and friendly. Spoke to me in English, recommending local stores and things to see.
It was best price in the area.Great for a larger family- e.g , room with 5 beds available, spacious room- enough air for a quality sleep. It was possible to check-in on our own and quite late in the evening with the given instructions.Great location - close to the old town.Parking on the grounds.Bed linens without intense washing powder aroma.
There is no kettle or other kitchen supplies in the room, although it is spacious enough to have smth. This would be great to have to enjoy the hospitality of Görlitz.
Conveniently located simple pension right on the edge of Görlitz's old town just near the bridge to cross into the Polish side. Rooms are simple and no frills, but clean and comfortable. This was perfect for our visit to Görlitz to see the Christmas markets.
Because of limited staffing hours it's not possible to leave your luggage there before or after check-in / check out times.
Nice location by river. Close to walk to polish restaurantsGood breakfast
Parking difficult
The location was perfect, close to the city center.
I like the fact that it was a converted historic building. The members of the staff were helpful.
Lovely location.
I was unable to see it because no one was there to let me see n at the agreed upon arrival time and when I called, the pension employee was so hostile that I became frightened and stayed elsewhere without asking for a refund. I was as TOO traumatized. The only’guest’ I saw looked sketchy and dirty.
Great location, spacious room.
The fridge didn’t work and smelled funny, the shower drain was stuck (the hotel wanted to send someone to check it out, however it was too late in the evening for us).
Very bad experience
Absolutely no instructions on how to check-in and get into the property. Couldn't get into contact with the administration. Polish style of business: give us your money and f-off. Definitely not recommended.
Location, good size.
Shower was terrible, very fin walls, could hear the baby crying next door.
Good location, large room.
Had to pay for wifi.
- very good location in the city center - clean - - possibility of storing a bicycle in a locked room
The only good thing about the accommodation was the location.
It was not a hotel, nor a “pension” it was more of a Motel. The reception was only open from 2pm to 8pm, when we arrived the room was FREEZING and the bed was unmade, there were humidity problems and a smell of fungus throughout the building, the heaters were off, it was 2 degrees outside! We tried to take a half hour nap so we could walk around but there was a man shouting in the hallway and we were frozen, we had to go to the reception to discuss the problem and ask for more blankets, the woman was very kind (the only good thing) and offered us another room Since he knew that “that guest was strange” (speaking of the man who was shouting in the hallway), he gave us another key but did not give us more blankets, and the second room was just as cold as the first. We lost almost 2 hours in all this, so we entered the room at 4, and the next day we had to leave at 10, more than €60 for less than 24 hours of stay. In the bathroom there was no soap, shampoo or conditioner, but there was a sign “overnight stays from €16”, let's say a Motel. The second day we went at 9:30 to ask for hot water at the reception to drink mate, breakfast was from 8 to 11, but there was no one at the reception, a man yelled at us angrily over the entrance communicator and said that “your wife was going to open it for us” but she never did. We had to leave the keys in a mailbox and leave. A disaster
Good location on the river and close to city center
Very bad smell on the whole building.
The room was really big and quite clean, with all the essentials such as additional towels, toilet paper and even a hair dryer. You can park your car in front of the main building which is very useful. Very good price.
Because it's a border area, my mobile internet didn't work. There's an option to buy Wi-Fi access at Picobello, but the only choices available are buying Wi-Fi access for a week or a month, which is completely useless if you stay for a few days or just one night like me.
Location good, staff behaviour polite, cheap
The room I received was different than the picture. Lack of ample light. Small Windows. No smart TV. Bed mattress was super hard, felt metal spring all over my back while lying down, uncomfortable to sleep.
