design of room - cheap and childish room design (doesn't fit for business travelers), no beside table, strange smell....No pleasant atmosphere (I was already in San Damiano house, room were perferct)

A wonderful place with a special atmosphere and beautiful lawns for walking. The room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated.

Three days we booked especially for the tranquility of a monastery.The first night brought silence and a wonderful sleep.Night two there was a birthday party with loud music and chatting people under our window.One hopes this is a one-time thing.Night three was completely disrespectful: a wedding party.Even with all the windows closed, we couldn't catch any sleep even though we were driving on to Italy a day later.Can you really not warn and inform the guests? I feel hugely disappointed and even treated disrespectfully.We could have spent our money more usefully on real rest. Never again.Too bad because the rooms are spacious and the surroundings magnificent.

Beautiful building, facilities are all new, very clean and friendly staff

Difficult to find the entrance. When we arrived all facilities were closed, but with good guidance by phone we were able to find the keys in the locker and find the room. Some signs would be helpful.

Location in an active monestary is an amazing experience. Breakfast is amazing, would have loved to stay longer just to taste more items. It is sooo quite, the kind of silence that really makes an impression.

A very nice monastery

No diner restaurant and no coffee or tea on the room. We arrived at 16:45 and the bar closed at 17:00 bit the machines where already cleaned. No guest feeling.

Very quiet place with very helpful stuff. They had key available in local safe when arrived after operation hours of reception desk.

We had a wonderful stay, rooms are updated and clean, the grounds are beautifully kept. The restaurant had amazing dessert and coffee. Breakfast was good. The staff were friendly. Free parking. Would definitely return.

Breakfast is great. Dinner is great. Ladies working in the kitchen and the cafe are very nice and giving a good vibe.

Lady at the reception is not for that position. Not helpful, rude, cold. Mattress is large but one side of it is gone. Room needs a fan, bathroom needs more powerful fan. Small carpet under the bed is a must.

Very clean and quiet. Breakfast was good. There is a bar from which you can get drinks by yourself (write down on a paper what you used, and pay at check-out).

Check-in is before 18.00. I did not notice this while making the reservation and the lady who runs the place got upset with me when I arrived at 19.15. So if you plan to use this place as a stop-over while traveling, it might not be the best option for you. If you are certain you can arrive before 18.00, then it is very good value for money.

We loved our short stay at the Kloster. Beautiful buildings, room spacious and clean, lovely shared living room area available in our building, free parking and lovely large grounds away from the road so very peaceful. There is a café open in the afternoon serving coffee and cake, very relaxing.

The nearest place to eat is in the next village, the Kloster Café closes at 17 o’clock.

Jaw dropped as we arrived at this enormous monastery in a village in the German countryside. Free parking was right outside. Having recovered the keycard, we tentatively entered the beautiful building, guessing that room 30X would be on the 3rd floor. After that, we were amazed at the quirkiness and quality of the interior decorations. The lift was top tech, and the 3rd floor had been painted to make it an old German village street, with starry lights, pretend shutters, and a cobble-stone carpet!! The beds, the bathroom, everything was top quality - going to steal a lot for home deco!

Since we were arriving after 6pm, we had instructions (in German) where to find the key card. This is not a hotel so there is no reception after that time, and it did feel strange going into a huge monastery and having to understand where to find the room.The location is rural; however there are restaurants nearby, even later in the evening.Only things missing- bath towels and soap (though there was shower gel).

Special atmosphere, clean and peaceful. Simple and functional, pleasant colors.

The cheaper rooms did not have private bathroom, the bathroom of the larger room was good and clean.

beautiful location in old monastery. nice room, friendly people. great place to stay for 1 of a few days.

I was double charged - once through booking prepaid and at checkout on the reception. I tried to explain that it was prepaid and followed up with email and phone calls. Email was never replied and once they hear it's me on on the phone they just hang up on me. Avoid in any case.
