Hotel Du Lac & SPA

Great location in front of ferries to other Lake Como towns. Clean room and facility. Great breakfast. Loved the deck for cocktails after dinner. Very nice spa. Even though there are crowds awaiting the ferries, noise level was low.

Good location, close to ferry. Good view. Good taste in interior decoration. Nicely rehabbed. Good combination of classic and modern styles. Interior space is spacious.

There was nothing about this hotel not to like. Perfectly positioned in Bellagio for Restaurants, Bars and transport. we loved it.

The breakfast was one of the best we have ever had. It was truly amazing. The rooftop bar was spectacular and the drinks were perfect. Such amazing staff.

Amazing location, as long as you're ok with very large crowds outside the hotel. (which is everywhere is Bellagio, Varenna, and Menaggio. Hotel was amazing. Clean, good spa, and great breakfast.

It gets very busy between 10am-5pm

Right at the boulevard! The room overlooking at the lake are magical, the staff was very nice and accommodating.

Great location, near several good food and drink options. Staff were friendly and efficient, alway helpful. The sister hotel had a gym that I used. Of course it was clean with attentive housekeeping staff.

Great location in Bellagio across from the ferry terminal. Large room with balcony with partial view of Lake Como. Included breakfast buffet.

This was our second time staying at this hotel. We would not consider staying any place else in Bellagio. The hotel is perfectly located near the ferries to other towns on Lake Como. There are plenty of excellent restaurants within easy walking distance.. The facilities are beautiful. The rooftop bar and lounge provides a wonderful view of the lake. While we did not use it on this visit, the spa is wonderful, with excellent facilities, providing a great place to relax.. Rooms are very comfortable and immaculately clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. We would especially recognize Chiara on the front desk who always greeted us warmly and made sure our stay was wonderful. We look forward to returning many times in the future.

The property is nearly flawless

It’s charm, it’s staff and it’s location! The owners knew we were celebrating our anniversary and they gave us a beautiful bottle of Prosecco to celebrate! Their thoughtfulness made us feel special and our return there was magical!

Nothing!

The staff is exceptional, the Hotel has an amazing location in the heart of the town and across from the ferry. The rooftop bar is the place for aperitivo with beautiful sunset views. The ability to drop bags and the parking garage was just a short walk and secure. I would stay here again.

Great location; initial room a disappointment

Our first room, number 60, had an awful odor in it and was not the "Private balcony" we had reserved. When I pointed this out to the reception they said there was nothing they coud do but later said I would have to stay that night and could move rooms a second night. Room 61 was much better and what I expected. This should ot happen at a Hotel like yours.

Wonderful stay at the Hotel du Lac in Bellagio. The location in the center of the village and right in front of the pier (so convenient!) simple cannot be beat. We had a Suite and it was spacious, well appointed and comfortable. We even had a view on the lake from our balcony on the side of the building, which we didn't expect. The room was immaculate, bed was comfy and the bed linen great quality. Friendly and professional staff at the reception and in the restaurant upstairs, good breakfast with wonderful views on the lake (shame there was no prosecco though). We are French originally and were amazed by the quality and originality of the food served in the restaurant on the first floor (second floor for US clients). We had dinner there twice over 4 days and enjoyed the culinary experience both times. The Spa must have been recently renovated and was very luxurious. The hotel definitely exceeded our expectations.

We are happy to leave a tip in restaurants when the service is good but we don't appreciate being asked for it in Italy when service is always included. No other restaurant did that. We were also asked to leave a tip during check-out, first time ever and we travel a lot! We found that inappropriate. We tip the person providing the service directly. The food in the cafe downstairs wasn't good and the staff there was unpleasant.

Location, the bed, the staff, the view!

Nothing, everything was amazing!

Everything about our stay was perfect. We got upgraded to a lake-side view for no extra charge. Sarah was amazing. Antonio the masseuse did wonders and took us for a massage last minute. I loved the included spa. The bed and bathroom were very comfortable with robes and slippers offered. The breakfast in the morning was also beyond compare. Such a tasty spread of food! So incredibly grateful for our amazing stay here and for a great price. Staff was so kind and welcoming.

Everything was perfect!!

The hotel is in a prime location along the water in Bilagio. We actually departed the ferry after a long day of travel and was reluctant to find the hotel right in front of the ferry entrance. The spa that is included with your stay is a great oasis to gravitate towards after a long day of touring the lake and towns around the area.

5 stars all around, staff is great, breakfast setting in the morning is fantastic. top notch!
