B&B Scalea Rooms

The location is perfect. The historical district, city center, beaches, super markets are in walking distance. Plenty of free parking place in the street front of the hotel.

Location! Right between the beautiful, stony beach (sounds awful but it’s actually really nice) and the cute strip where I think mostly locals go. And between the hotel and the beach is another big strip with more hotels, so I think the more touristed area. Private balcony. Cute shared terrace. Owner is really nice. Great Wi-Fi connection.

The pillows leave a bit to be desired. Also limited outlets near the bed; I had to unplug the light (not a big deal for me but could be inconvenient for some).

Centrally located within a walking distance to the old town, beach, shops and restaurants. Extremely friendly staff. Good-sized room, very clean. Air con (heating) worked perfectly, the room was very warm in the winter. Good WiFi connection, balcony. Great coffee at breakfast.

Lukewarm water in the shower, breakfast not suitable for us (no savoury stuff) but the coffee was great.

Room was cosy and nice. I was surprised with a balcony, becouse I didn't know I booked a room with a balcony. That was a bonus. Bed is very comfortable. Breakfast was on a terrace, what was also nice. I had a very BIG croissant ever seen ?, it was fresh and tasty.

Great location when you look for “Scalea B&B rooms”, you are actually looking for the “Scalea Hotel”. There is no allocated parking, however there was on-street parking just across the crossroad available.

Very basic room and the mattresses were pretty uncomfortable, however everything was clean.

Great location- very close to the beach. A lot of shops and restaurants nearby.

The bed was very uncomfortable-lumpy mattress. I didn’t complain to the hotel as I didn’t want to change rooms. The staff speak little English so if you need support and don’t speak Italian it could be a problem. Parking is on the street and is confusing.

The room was spacious, clean, tidy, and comfy. The hotel is 3minutes walking distance from the beach. The staff is kind and the breakfast is delicious.

Shower a bit small not too powerful walls should be soundproof, breakfast very poor there should be more fruit fesh bread cheese toaster ,more cereal.more ventilation in the bathroom, a lift would be advisable ,small kettle with tea coffee in the room should be there and a working small fridge a softer bed is also very important, after 3 days there should be clean towels

The hotel location was very good close to the beach and the city center. The staff was friendly. There was terrace where you have breakfast. Breakfast was good selection e.g. croissant, cakes and cookies.

Perfect location, close to the beach and the city centre. We loved the terrace where you have breakfast. Good breakfast options (Italian style, no fried eggs, or sausages). The staff was kind and helpful. The room was spacious.

The hotel is quiet, but the walls are thin. If the other guests are loud climbing the stairs, you hear them. Baby cot available, but at an extra charge of 5€ per day.

A breakfast close to accomodation, Coffee And croissant up to you which. Great.

The location was very close to downtown. Breakfast tickets to a bar with amazing offer. The room and bathrooms were complete and good size.

The mattress was one of the most uncomfortable I have ever tried. I woke up repeatedly and in pain. Also, although there was WiFi available, at least in my room (and floor, I went to the hallway to see) it was very spotty and weak in general.

The location is wonderful. Very central and close to the beach. Breakfast is small but in a nice café.

the floors were dirty, the bed uncomfortable, it was real loud to sleep with the window open. no chance to change the rooms, as the AC of the next room was real loud. just not a cozy feeling in this room. I would suggest to spend a couple of € more and sleep somewhere else.

The hotel is located near all what we need to enjoy our trip such as the beach, nice restaurants, stores, supermarket, etc, the historical center is located 2 blocks from the hotel. The room is confortable and so quiet so we can rest. Francesco is a nice host, always trying to help us out with what we need. We will come back with our family on vacations.
