Hotel Carillon

Loved the common area and the beach was really great. Also the breakfast and staff was nice.

The pictures do not represent all the rooms well. We ended up in a not renovated room and unlike the pictures the bathroom was really old and everything was just lived through quite a bit leading it to not being clean. Really not what we were expecting judging by the pictures and hence I did not like the value for money with regard to our room. The view from the terrace was nice though. If you book a renovated room or do not mind the older rooms you will have a great stay!

The location on the lake is stunning. The beach area and swimming opportunity were fantastic. The staff were incredibly hospitable, friendly and professional.

Room was great, renovated, clean and comfortable.Good beach, beach bar and cool water sport equipment for rent.Hotel is only a few minutes walk fro tue nearby restaurants,Amazing staff, really! helpful in everything we needed, pleasant and friendly.All was simply great.

Fantastic hotel with best view of lake maggiore room nice, good parking with friendly staff. Lovely breakfast Comfy beds, would be great in summer when you could access the lake etc

Tv was impossible to understand or get to work to a normal tv channel , wifi was intermittent, very frustrating when trying to use it. location would be limited without a car. Quite a busy road to walk along to the nearest village.

Beautiful location on the shore of the Lago Maggiore. Lovely terrace, little beach to go into the water, lounge chairs, great for a relaxing moment! Our room had a nice balcony with a beautiful view of the lake.

The air-condiioning did not work, luckily we could keep the windows open at night.

They only thing this hotel had going for it was the view of the lake.

This hotel is located off a major road so trying to leave to grab dinner or anything was a risk. Parking is terrible at this location. The rooms are very outdated our room specifically had a horrible smell it smelt like old urine and the smell really came out when you had the shower going. There were hairs in the towels when we went to go and use them.Walking around the room your feet would just be so dirty. When we addressed the concerns to the management lady she didn’t seem to care she had someone come up and poor something in our drain in the bathroom said that should fix it - and no it didn’t. We couldn’t enjoy the hotel we actually left 2 days early didn’t want our kids sleeping in filth. The breakfast that came included in this overpriced hotel was nasty it all looked soggy like it had been left out way to long. There isn’t much access to the water at the hotel as well. There is a small section that you can get in at but watch out for all the boats coming through trying to dock. Save your money stay somewhere else .

Beautiful view, great location. I love the beach bar and the view at the lake.

Furniture is outdated in the rooms. Staff was ok.

Room was as depicted in pictures. OK but not fancy. Breakfast very good. Good location.

Lovely dining room. Spacious with views across the lake. Excellent outside areas with plenty of sun loungers etc.

Beautiful location and lake views from the room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Lovely village nearby with nice places to eat within short walking distance (note the walk is along the road with a small section without pavement so need to be careful there)

Nothing really. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room would be a great addition.

Nice staff.All very good.Nice Position.Short walk to resturaunts.Make sure you have a torch or high visibility jacket for walk home.(No pavement on part of journey)

We liked that it had its own waterfront. The staff were nice. The bed was comfortable and the pillow too.

It was not cleaned properly, spiderwebs almost everywhere, spiders in the bed. The air conditioner was on in the evening, which only made it cold, the radiator didn't heat up at night either, it was very cold.

Tranquil and hospitable lakeside gem! Wonderful food, staff and location.

The position of the Hotel couldn't be better. Family run with quality food and facilities. Bonus of off road parking. Recommend a Lake facing balcony room.

Great view! Everything I needed. Breakfast was decent. Very nice that it's included in the price of the hotel room. I walked to the village about 15 minutes. There is about a 50 foot section that has no sidewalk and you walk on the narrow road so that is a bit dangerous but I survived it 4 times. The village is very small but has a few places to dine along the water. It's mainly a beach area/campground.

The room was a bit sterile. I think it was the very high ceilings and lack of color. But it was very clean and had everything I needed. Nice little balcony with great view.

The view on the lake was fantastic. Breakfast very good. The pirvate beach was very nice to have. Restaurants at walking distance.

The quadruple room was on the small side, however very nicely and efficiently furnished.

Breakfast was pretty basic and supplements are asked for bacon and eggs.

All rooms are suited directly on the lake. The coastal road runs to the rear of the hotel, so there only little traffic noise. Direct access to the lake and a small lawn complete the offer. Friendly staff and good italian breakfast.Great value for money.
