Hotel Villa Ruscello

Great location. Clean. Good breakfast, lots to choose from. We had lake view and it was great to sit on balcony and look out over the lake. Reserved parking - very important feature.

Property doesn’t have an elevator but it is an old estate home so it is understandable.

Good view of the lake from the balcony. Also nice outdoor patios and a lounging area by the water. Plenty of free parking included at the hotel. Excellent breakfast buffet.

The hotel was amazing! The location is great, the hotel is clean and the staff is amazing and really welcoming. The view of our room, the area for swimming and free parking are great bonuses. Giulio and Natalino were really helpful and patient. We were in a big loud family group and they were really kind and patient with giving us directions and general information. We would definitely stay there again. Grazie mille! Muito obrigado pela estadia.

We loved everything

The owner is very friendly and working hard to help in everything. The location is beautiful, with a very nice garden overlooking the lake. A small waterfall crosses the garden itself.

The apartment in the main house is very large and comfortable. The rooms in the second house are nice

Amazing view to the lake!!! We ordered 2 bedrooms and received a lovely large 2 bedrooms suite, large bathroom, balcony.Beautiful gardens.

There is a busy road between the hotel and the parking plus the beach. Crossing is dangerous.

Loved this place, clean, elegant rooms and the best views. Our room had a balcony looking Isola Bella and Isola Pescatori. Staff friendly. Highly recommend it.

We enjoyed two nights in this popular and friendly little hotel. The room was simple but clean and comfortable. The lake view from the little balcony was beautiful. The location was perfect for exploring the islands and nearby villages. Overall great choice.

Great location with big parking, beautiful gardens and a terrace next to the lake, with direct view on the Stresa islands. Illuminated exterior table next to the lake. Big room (we stayed in the main villa, room 13), with a lot of space and a big balcony. Good breakfast. Very amicable hotel owner!

Excellent location with the closest view of the Borramear islands right outside our room. The breakfast is outstanding. The staff is great. This is an historic hotel so the rooms are a bit dated but that is part of the charm, high ceilings, period artwork throughout and a beautiful garden outside. Parking is across the street, crossing it to get there can be harrowing because of the speeding cars and no sidewalks, be patient, the traffic goes in spurts. You need to drive into town since there are no sidewalks.

The rooms were clean, and well-maintained. The hotel was a little far from the center. The facilities were great too. All the staff were wonderful. There was a big place in front of the hotel on the opposite side of the road. Moreover, the breakfast was wonderful.

The hotel is charming, and the staff were extremely helpful. The grounds are beautiful with lots of outdoor space. The private parking is just across the street (watch for cars). The breakfast was extensive. We loved the small balcony. Lots of storage space for a smallish room.

We had only one pillow each, and the bed was a bit firm. Be aware that there are stairs, and there are no restaurants within walking distance.

I understand that it may not be 100% the hotl's fault but i have to tell my opinion. They put us on the second floor without an elevator. For this reason , we left the large suitcases in the car. The room smelled damp. For the money the hotel is asking for, i think it could have been a little better.

Breakfast was good, attentive and very personal staff. Spaceous rooms. The surroundings were beautiful and very well presented.

Beds were a little worn and could use a new mattress, cleaning was ok but could be better. Towels smelled old.

Great location! The view on the lake is amazing. And the staff was very kind and did not hesitate to provide recommendations for things to do in the area.
