Great, quiet location, family owned, friendly staff

The drive to the hotel was exiting and beautiful. Hotel had friendly staff. Great food.

There was no tv in a room. Our kids were very disappointed. Room was just a place to sleep not really place to spend the time.

The staff/owners were very kind and accommodating to our stay and needs. The food was above average.

Does not send invoice. Charged despite we did not stay there.

We had a very disappointing experience with Hotel Urirotstock. Unfortunately, we could not even stay here because they informed us that they cannot provide keys after 11pm, forcing us to find another hotel that night. Despite not staying, they refused to refund our booking, so we ended up paying for nothing.On top of that, they have been completely unresponsive for months — both to our direct messages and to Booking.com’s customer service — as we’ve repeatedly requested an invoice (important since this was paid with a company credit card).Unprofessional, unresponsive, and unfair. Not recommended.

It was honey and Rudi was very hospitable.

The prices at the restaurant were a bit high.The windy narrow road was a bit scary but we made it

An excellent experience with this hotel. Great and beautiful place, in a lovely village, with an excellent view.Hotel is modest, but convenient and good breakfast. The way to get there is not easy climbing the mountains (better at day time), but the view is certainly worth it.

I can't say enough about this location! If you want an authentic Swiss experience, this is it! The restaurant was amazing! Traditional Swiss music is playing in the background. The owner is part of the band that makes the music that plays on the recording. The town is so beautiful. The views from the hotel room are superb. The small grocery store, church, and buildings are adorable! I would stay here any day! I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Very treacherous road up the mountain.

Spectacular views ! Absolutely astonishing location in the middle of a beautiful Swiss village .. the snake route that takes you to the village is superb ! Absolutely amazing and I would definitely come back to the same place

It was very wonderful, the hospitality is at a high level, the owner speaks a little English if anyone needs it. Very picturesque area, delicious food, large portions. Local cheeses, beer is something fantastic.

We booked this hotel as an overnight stop on the way to Italy. What a super choice this was !!The hotel, the welcome, the service and the fabulous location helped to make a fantastic start to our holiday. Immeasurably better than staying in a 'roadside ' travellodge!!

Spectacular views, surrounded by beautiful Swiss mountains, some green, some snowy-white (we visited in April). The food in the restaurant is great. The hotel has the vibe of a typical Swiss hotel in the Swiss mountains. The owner is very kind. The rooms are simple but good. The single room actually had a double bed.

The hotel was fine; no complaints at all! City folks should realize that the road leading up the mountain to the hotel is a curvy, bi-directional, yet narrow road (only one car can pass). If you come across a car from the other direction, one of you will have to navigate backwards through the curves of this mountain road, until you reach a spot that if wide enough for the second car to pass. Once per hour, a bus drives up the mountain, and once per hour a bus drives down; thus you may even encounter a bus in the narrow curves. If you are uncomfortable with driving in this type pf narrow and curvy mountain road, don't go there.

This is a family run hotel, the owner was very kind when we checked in. The restaurant is really good, there are different local dishes, all of them are delicious. If you like, don't miss the garlic cordon bleau.At breakfast the local mountain cheese is excellent, as well as the smoked ham.

Out of the way, authentic, friendly, quiet.Lovely village atmosphere

The road can be challenging, just follow a bus.

A great place to unwind and take in some authentic Switzerland. I would definitely go back.

The property is isolated which can be good and bad and the road getting up to Isenthal is a one way with several pull outs for oncoming traffic.

Silent location in the real part of Switzerland. Note, an amazing road, carved out of the rocks up to the location !

Everything was perfect. The location, the traditional hotel, deep in nature location, very quiet, very nice food, friendly staff. Highly recommended.
