Beds where not great. Small and not comfortable

The breakfast was awesome. There were so many different varieties to choose from. Everything tasted good as well.The staff at the check in counter was very helpful as well. We got a small ”godispåse” as it was Easter. It was a nice gesture, we felt.

We had cocktails at the bar later in the evening. The cocktails could have been better

Staff at reception were not helpful and unprofessional. Didn't receive information about the breakfast opening hours. Unfriendly treatment.

The location was fantastic. Just a few minutes walk to the centre, the river and the castle. Public parking is next to the hotel and is free during the night so we only paid for a few hours at 16 SEK an hour. The staff were very friendly.

Breakfast ended at 9. We were on holiday so were late up and f er need up rushing breakfast. The room was a little small for 4 people. The bunk beds folded down from the wall so you could save space but my teenage daughters didn’t enjoy sleeping in them as they were uncomfortable and they kept banging into parts of the beds. There was hair found in the top bunk bed.

The reception was super nice.Location is perfect.Room is clean.The breakfast was just so so. But given the price, I cannot complain .

Excellent location

The single reason we choose this hotel over others in the area was the jacuzzi that they claim to have. But the jacuzzi has been closed for renovations for weeks and we were only informed about that when we checked in.

The hotel had a very nice breakfast, comfortable rooms and a very nice view from the sauna.

The jacuzzi was out of service which was very unfortunate, because we choose the hotel because of it.

Small room, awkard cleaning ”policy” since one needs to book for daily cleaning of room, expensive in relation to the expected quality and room size

The room we had for a family of 4 was too small and the sofa made up for the kids was very noicy.

The hotel's location is good, and the breakfast exceeded our expectations.

However, our stay was quite inconvenient. We traveled with our baby, and the hotel was not equipped for guests with strollers. Every time we went out or returned, I had to carry the stroller up and down the stairs in the lobby. Additionally, the room photos on the website do not represent the rooms' real size. We found the room to be very small compared to what we expected based on the photos. The beds are uncomfortable.

Clean beds, relatively spacious room, central location 0.5 km from the station. Helpful and pleasant staff.

Worn-down room, with dirty walls and chipped chairs. The shower had two heads, but the switch was broken and only one shower head worked while the other dripped cold water all the time. The bathroom stank of cat piss, like something was rotting in the drain. Permanent stains all over the bathroom mirror. No ventilation in the room. No floor towels, and the hair+body wash container was empty when we checked in. I asked for a refill and the receptionist gave me a new bottle that we had to mount into the holder ourselves.All in all, the stay was quite allright, but definitely not worth the huge price (2000 sek/night). One expects a higher standard at a 4-star hotel.

Bathroom smells badly

Excellent location within walking distance of railway station and a good point for me to start my walking expedition. Close to the centre of the town with plenty of places to eat. Supermarket under half a mile away. Nice paths along the riverside immediately adjacent to hotel. An excellent breakfast with wide choice of different foods served early if needed - from 6am on weekdays and 7am at weekends.

No problems at all.

Breakfast was great. Staff were cheerful. Everything fresh and clean. It was very nice to have a boxed breakfast ready for us as the front desk the morning we had to leave for the train station early. It was a pleasant surprise and tasted great!

A bit of a walk in the pouring rain back to the train station but I had read that a hotel near the station was quite noisy so chose this one instead. Getting used to two twin beds being only inches apart! Different than in the US for sure!
