    Pros +

    • It was very nice and enjoyed our stay. Loved that we could walk to the National Park.
    • The location
    • Very well located with a lot of things to do including sport facilities (padel court, pool etc.). Great massage in the relaxing area. comfortable and charming. Staff is polite and helpful.

    Cons -

    • After the checking staff. Was talking up the wellness area, we went to use the hot tub and it was under mantenne.
    • The property is quite old and in need of some renovation. I understand it’s a cabin in the woods, but since it’s considered a hotel, it should still be comfortable. I booked a room for three people but was given a room for two, and they charged me for a third room upstairs with a low ceiling and a non-working air conditioner. Our room also experienced a power outage. This is definitely not a five-star hotel—if you’re looking for luxury and comfort, this is not the place for you.
    • What can be improved: Breakfast items could be at a higher level, especially cold cuts (cheap cheese, ham and bad coffee). Cleanliness of cutlery and plates. Soundproofing in the rooms is very poor, but this is due to the houses being renovated but of an old construction method (wooden), so it is a minor problem.

Great location, if you want to visit the lakes. The room was very nice and clean.

Outside facilities not well maintained, some of them not clean - benches, sunbeds, minigolf, etc.Breakfast was average - probably stuff from the supermarket, slapped on a platter or in a bowl. Coffee machine did not work well. Restaurant too pricy for the offered quality (we had dinner).High extra charge for use of spa - 30EUR/30 minutes or 40EUR/day - even though the cost of the room is not low (could have been included).

Very friendly staff; unusual but very pretty setting; great location; 'camp' feel; staff gave very clear and helpful advice on hikes

Rooms were a bit more rustic that pictured; a bit dark; a lot of stairs to climb with heavy bags

Very unusual property, but in a good way! Dinner in the restaurant was very nice. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Room was very cozy. Great access to Plitvice Lakes.

    Breakfast buffet was just OK.

    6MichellePosted on: 10-5-2025

Restaurant was spendy but delicious. Rooms were fine, comfortable but definitely older.

The shower was cold, only flashes of lukewarm water - rough after a cold day of hiking when you want a warm rinse!

It is a lovely setting and a short walk to entrance 3, which is great for accessing the park. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I am vegan and was not able to get a good dinner the day we arrived. The next day the restaurant manager got the chef to make something that would work better. It was still not great but I really appreciated the attention and effort.

The room was not bright and the windows were very few and small. There was no good, healthy, choice for vegetarian or vegan (protein plus healthy carb in addition to veges)

Close proximity to the third entrance of Plitvice National Park. It was only a 5 minute walk. The staff were very friendly and helpful with good information about the park and other sights to see. Comfortable beds, bedding and pillows.

Our building number 3 was situated by the septic holding tank which had a constant unpleasant smell. The walls did not keep out the sound of the guests above or below. Needs some a few updates as our bed sheets had holes in them and the night stand lamp had exposed frayed wires.

    Nothing!

The location was great and very close to an entrance to the park. The staff member who checked us in was so friendly and helpful, and he assisted us many times throughout our stay in different areas. He really went above and beyond and made us feel welcome. They had plenty of parking, and the room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. We got massages and used the sauna, and it was seriously one of the best massages I've ever had. The hotel grounds have tons of recreational and entertainment options, and this would be a great place to stay for families with kids. The on-site dinner restaurant was really convenient.

They had a good selection of breakfast foods, but the "hot" items were cold both mornings we ate there. We ate dinner at the restaurant both nights as well. I would say the food was decent but not fabulous for the price.

Dinner was very good along with the wine selection. Room was clean and comfortable. Location and access to Plitvice Lakes National Park was exceptional. Property has game rooms with darts, pool, and ping pong to help occupy your time.

Half of the property smells like sewage (thankfully our room wasn’t on that side). Restaurant staff had limited knowledge of gluten free foods which was challenging given I have celiac disease. Breakfast buffet was below average. There is a small petting farm with a goat, bunny, miniature pony, and a Saint Bernard dog —- it doesn’t appear that the animals are very well cared for, which is sad.

This is the oddest hotel. It's trying really hard to appeal to everyone - couples, families, adventure travelers - rather than concentrate on a single group. It has a padel court and a small zoo (which I think it should retire) - what other hotel has that? The bottom line, however, is that the cabins are great - spacious, contemporary (not rustic on the inside) and I highly recommend this place.

Very close to the park, breakfast very complete.

People smoking and talking next to my window during night and then in the morning, far for what I consider quiet and clean room. Many amenities like pingpong and pool had no maintenance.

    6GouletPosted on: 8-16-2025

It was really quiet, very close to the park, and our rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was really good, lots of choices and it was included in the price which was a plus. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

The zoo is pointless and not appealing seeing caged animals. You can smell septic by the spa area and also at the restaurant on the patio. The hot tubs are a good idea, but cannot accommodate that many people, a pool would be much better. The restaurant food was subpar, except for the breakfast which was really good.

The most polite staff from any other hotel. Kids friendly, very close to the Entrance 3 of the national park

    Nothing, everything was outstanding

    3BlakePosted on: 8-4-2025

Location near Entrance 3 and the staff help with navigating the park.

Room was in disrepair: sewer gas was filling the room from improper plumbing in the bathroom. Staff blamed it on the rain, but the sink lacked a P or S trap which allowed gases to fill the room. We had to block the drains with towels. The shower door didn’t close, so water got all over the floor. Caulk used to multiple places on the floor to keep water from soaking into ceiling below which looked shabby. The toilet seat was broken and would slide off. Outlet wires were hanging out of the wall. One of the chairs had legs replaced with a smaller chair which made it unsteady. The zoo, putt putt, etc were in poor condition. This place is 2-3 stars at best and needs work for that rating. Look elsewhere nearby if you’re choosing because of location.

    8AlexPosted on: 8-2-2025

Nice comfortable room, excellent location, enjoyed a game of padel and table tennis with numerous seating options for drinks. The lamb Peka was lovely in the restaurant.

Outside areas we’re a little tired and a dog in a cage isn’t what I’d quite class as a “zoo”. The restaurant was quite a contrast to the rustic nature of the property, with elements quite formal and expensive.

Anes greeted us at check-in and was a phenomenal greeter. He was very friendly and personable and culturally aware. He did a great job helping us with getting to Plitvices national park. The restaurant was great also

Great location for entering the lakes area. Super helpful staff. Great value during a weeknight stay (understanding gets more expensive Friday and Saturday). Good value restaurant that is open until 11 pm, which is very handing for a late arrival. Really nice rooms with a log cabin feel. Very happy that we chose here over the larger resort across the lake. The last ferry back to the adjacent boat harbor (P2 - P3 direction) at 6pm. It takes 90-120 minutes from the ST3 bus stop.

    Nothing. Was a great location.
