The jacuzzi was full of hair and it did smell like something I don’t want to get in. When we started it a lot of dirt came out. There was hair in the shower and the room was pretty dirty. I really don’t recommend this place.

Close to the hotel is a ballroom part of the same hotel. During our stay it was a party and held until 5 in the morning. We couldn't rest at all. The pillows have smells like a cigarette smoke.No parking place available for hotel guests. The parking spots in front of the ballroom were fully occupied.

Very good location, near to city centre and the main road. Well cared and clean building and rooms. Big and clean bathroom. And the most importand for us was the specially arranged secure parking for our motorcycles! I highly recommend Rais for moto travellers to Transalpina. Good food in the restaurant. Good breakfast.

The waitress in the restaurant was not so polite and she did not speak english, not even tried to help us. Just gave us a menu in romanian and waited us to purchase.

The room was spacious, the staff of very friendly and helpful, check in reception and restaurant open till 12.00 pm

Very nice and clean hotel. The staff is vey helpful.I have tried almost all hotel/accommodation of Targu Jiu and now that I found Hotel Rais, I am not going anywhere else!

decent location, quite clean, spacious rooms, new building. price was fair. breakfast was very good and service excellent. design is tacky but passable.

smoking is allowed/tollerated in the restaurant (which is illegal) and in the rooms (also illegal) and because of this the reek of stale tobacco is strong and nauseating everywhere in the hotel. poor sound isolation of rooms combined with tilled floors in the lobby and staircase means you can easily hear people walking or talking elsewhere in the hotel. especially at night. hot water was warm but not quite hot.

The staff is extremely friendly, the room was clean, spacious and the restaurant of the hotel was a nice surprise.

Excellent staff, great food, beautifully decorated and clean, close to the main Park with Brancusi art - Gate of Kiss, Chairs Alley and Silence Table, nice available parking, great money value!

We called the number at the reception (as there was nobody there ) at 10 to ask about breakfast, they told us it starts at 12 after check out .the restaurant door was closed at 10 so we went up in the room . At 12 still nobody at the reception but the restaurant was opened, just so they tell us there is no more breakfast , no apology no coffee at least nothing . We called the number at the reception but nobody answered the second time . Highly unprofessional and rude ! Do not recommend booking this hotel for breakfast, safe your money .

Breakfast was very good. Room was large, comfortable and modern. Close to the Gate of the Kiss, monument of Brancusi in Targu Jiu.

For some reason the air con stopped working, but considering the heat wave outside, climate was ok.

The staff was very friendly, the room was clean (we appreciated the safety bands over the toilet to be sure it wasn't used after cleaning it). The location was great, we got fast from the hotel to the mall and also to the parks with the main attractions.

Even though we had the breakfast included in our offer, it only covered 50lei. Everything above that was extra cost.

Room was very clean and the staff very nice and polite, and a tasty breakfast as wel:)
