The breakfast and dinner offerings were quite pleasant. The staff was incredibly helpful all the time. The room was clean and warm, the bathroom was equipped with modern fixture.

The sauna facilities were small compared to the hotel size.

Very disappointing and not worth the money!This hotel was a big letdown. No drinking water in the room, the bathroom and shower were not clean, air conditioner was so noisy it was hard to sleep. The bed was uncomfortable.despite the high price we paid for the two rooms, gave us a room with a rear view which were a concrete wall !! breakfast was not tasty at all. We were seated at the restaurant in a place we didn’t want. Overall, this hotel does not meet even basic expectations. Definitely not recommended!

A great hotel very well situated and mantained. Loved the facilities, the breakfast and view from our room.They had a gorgeous fire place in the lobby and it was a very cozy atmosphere. Also the personell of the hotel were very caring snd polite.

I did not like the fact that they have a central heating system and you are not able to establish your own temperature in the room

The reception staff were very helpful and the restaurant staff were kind.The manager of the hotel was supportive and always ask if things can be improved to make.our stay joyful.

The pillows were very soft and small.

Bus service to ski lifts is just outside the hotel

Worst experience ever with the staff. Dinner service took more than 2.5 hours on day 1 despite them seeing that we had several kids on our table who were tired and sleepy after a long day. Some of us had to miss a course to go put the kids to bed. The kids buffet had only one vegetarian option every day which was boiled raw pasta with a plain tomato sauce on the side. Zero nutrition and cannot feed the same thing over and over again to kids. On day 3, we got a pizza for the kids from outside the hotel and asked if they could eat in the dining room with the rest of us who were eating the hotel food. They did not allow it. We asked can they eat it in the lobby so we can join our table for dinner after. They refused. After some discussion, one person said they would make an exception. We went to the bar and barely sat down when this lady came and told us we can’t. She went on to say that they do not allow ‘strange food’ in the hotel so we can only eat in our room. She proceeded to call the manager who was equally rude citing he had worked in hotels in UK, Italy and Austria and no where is food from outside allowed. We reminded them that this is for the kids and not us and we were going to eat in the dining room after but he continued to be rude and eventually we took the food up to our room, fed the kids and came down for our own meal. He might have worked in several countries but he clearly does not understand a thing about customer service and communicating properly. I have also stayed in hotels across the world and everyone makes exceptions for kids. Pathetic hotel and staff.

- Terrible service of front desk manager and hotel manager (details below)- Outdated rooms- Below average dinner food (2 options basically the same with only difference in fish vs meat, last option vegetarian pasta / risotto which tasted terrible on both occasions we tried it), paid water even with half board. 2 out of 3 people in our group got mild poisoning after dinner on last day (most likely from raw fish served as appetizer)- Slow restaurant service- Low security of the hotel (no cameras in or near rooms where guests store ski equipment, no insurance against security incidents - at least based on what the hotel staff told us)A valuable item was stolen from us on the premises from a locked room, the staff first refused to deal with the situation, then later on gave conflicting information; hotel manager refused to speak to us to address this when he was on site, then staff promised he will call us but he never did even after multiple reminders. Overall very unprofessional behavior which I have never experienced even in hotels of much lower rating on paper.// edit, reaction to response from owner:- I believe I do understand the menu - we of coruse saw the 3 options (since it is required to order upfront), out of which 2 (fish vs meat) were on all days more or less the same with the exception of protein part of the meal (which is not "varied" menu in my view)- We were not asked by any person to share either, invoice for lost item or police loss report; furthermore the staff never suggested reporting the loss to police. Fully understand that no liability is taken by the hotel, that doesn't change anything on the attitude of the staff and management towards the issue - completely not helpful, and plain rude at times, similarly to the response here)

The hotel is nice, including the pool and sauna area. It has also large enough parking place, skiroom and shoe-room. The hotel staff is attentive and accommodating.

The hotel is not ready for full capacity. When the hotel was fully occupied, the service was very slow. We were waiting one hour just for the dessert. During dinner, the soup ran out in the self-service buffet, and all the oils ran out at the same time. Despite being notified, they were not replenished for a long time. I noticed that some guests waited so long for their food that they were forced to eat children's meals from the self-service buffet.

The ventilátor in the bath dos not work. During the 13 days they were not able to repair.

All people working there are kind, thanks for arab and greece guys, the blonde girls and the manager are the worst.

One of the waiters disrespected use and she also lied about what i and she said, after talking to use with bad way, she runned to the manager and laid to him and then we spoke to him about our problem he said shes saying something else, she came to me first the manager is also a no use. He is saying that we are layers and she is not and spoke to someone that saw what we said then he said ok and didnt do anything, illcome bake to this place if i new the waiter have been kicked and the manager also they are disadvantage for this place.

Friendly staff and the view of the room

It is Far from the centre and the pastries were not fresh and hard especially the croissants. Nobody told us that cakes are served in tha afternoon from 2 pm to 4 pm as a complement from the hotel.

The restaurant staff were very helpful and kind especially Mr. Aris and Achraf and his wife. The evening meals were very delicious and has 3 choices of main course. The Chef for the main courses and the desert are very professional and creative. The hotel has an excellent atmosphere for holiday seekers.

My request for upper floor room was not met although this was my request when I booked.

We had a fabulous time at this wonderful resort where the staff were friendly and helpful offering a warm welcome complete with glass of Prosecco. Our room was large, airy and with a great balcony overlooking the mountains. The environment is stunning and there’s a wonderful walk up to Bad Gastein alongside the waterfall.We loved the pool and sauna area - perfect chill out zone. The property has a great bar where cake is offered in the afternoon. The food was generous and outstanding and we can’t wait to come for another stay.

Big room with large balcony & nice views. Mini fridge was very useful. Breakfast selection was great. Had dinner at the hotel twice and both were excellent. Short bus ride to Bad Gastein.

Room is getting a little dated and could use a refresh. Hair dryer repeatedly overheated.

Dinner / Buffet was absolutely beautiful, good variety of foods, and very friendly service all around. Great dog playground facility.

A little old style but still good maintained.

The location of the CESTA hotel in Bad Bruck is conveniently located opposite a bus stop with regular bus services. The hotel rooms are outstanding big with good cupboard space, a comfy bed, well equipped bathroom, and as we were there in winter - good heating. Breakfast buffet offers a big variety of food (cold and hot, salty and sweet). Spa - the swimming pool is a good size for swimming and temperature of the water makes you stay in comfortably. The use of sauna area and steam bath is mixed, which is not everyone´s liking. A big praise to the staff at the bar area and the restaurant, they were very professional and friendly.

It would have been nice to have a few evening entertainments, e.g. live music - on the pianos in the bar area; presentations of the healing qualities of the thermal water and the Heilstollen or a presentation of hikes or skiing options (through the local hotel guide - Ingrid maybe). As the hotel is not in the town of Bad Gastein, this evening entertainments could be welcomed by guests and could add to the hotels activities.

It was very clear and the food was very good with lots of choices.

There should be free tea & coffee with the afternoon cakes and it should go on till 5.30.

Very spacious rooms. Well equipped spa with a good size swimming pool. Dinner and breakfast both excellent. Renata at reception was very helpful in arranging a late checkout so that we could ski before our evening flight. The ski bus stop is right outside the hotel and the buses are very reliable. The free hotel shuttle into Bad Gastein was very useful as the ski bus is only hourly during the middle of the day.

The hotel is some distance from Bad Gastein and quite isolated. Seemed strange that lunch was not available at the hotel when we returned after a morning of skiing on our day of departure. For some reason, Reception had difficulty booking a return transfer to Salzburg Airport so we ended up taking the train plus Bus 2 to the airport which was very convenient and straightforward.
