Urban Nature Bad Gastein - Badeschloss

The room was one of the best that we've stayed in - laid out perfectly as a corner unit with great views. Food was on point and the staff were respectful and attentive to our needs.

The breakfast was great and rooms were clean and comfortable. The heated rooftop pool was a real bonus. The staff was very helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had to check in late and the doors were locked. It would have been helpful if there was a sign on the door indicating that there is an intercom that can be used to call a staff member.

poor communication via booking messenger and inability to reach hotel staff via phone, reception staff were friendly but disorganized and inefficient, lighting in rooms was insufficient and no reading lights and insufficient beds in the wellness area, very limited choice of vegetarian dishes in the restaurant

Property is comfortable, located in the city center and very close to ski bus. Spa area is big, with many places to chill and big sauna areas. Service in the hotel was really nice and helpful

We went there during Christmas and the decoration was very limited, we couldn’t really feel the Christmas vibe. Food at the restaurant is a bit weird concept of dishes around the world, I would prefare to have something classic Austrian. We also encountered unpleasant booking situation where the manager didn’t want to allow us to join the Christmas dinner. That was eventually sorted but the attitude of the manger wasn’t really nice

We really liked our stay at Urban Nature Bad Gastein. The room was very large, especially by European standards we are used to, the breakfast had many options, and the spa which you have access to as a hotel guest is very relaxing. The hotel felt very modern and trendy, with clean lines and styling. The rooms themselves were clean and well equipped. Our room looked out on the waterfall which was very pretty. The location was nice, however we went very much in shoulder season and getting there required a walk up a big hill, Bad Gastein as a village is very hilly. With it being shoulder season, between summer and ski, the buses seemed few and far between with not many taxi/ubers in the are either. On that note, food options were also limited with many closed until ski season.On the note of the Spa. We thought the spa was very nice and relaxing. The view from the infinity pool on the roof was amazing. We also went to the Felsentherme Spa by the train station, which was nice and much bigger, but we thought the spa here was more relaxing. Honestly, it was a somewhat different experience between the two.The price we paid for everything was also very reasonable. I am not sure what this place would cost in-season, but shoulder season if was very affordable for all that you get.The staff was also friendly in helping us get what we needed while we were there. They also spoke English and other languages in addition to German which was helpful.

Not much to say negative, would recommend this place. Just be aware of food and local transportation issues when coming outside the normal season and not having a car.

Great location, great facilities: pool on the roof, sauna…. Purely enjoyable….

Although staff is really nice and helpful, they get a bit overwhelmed in the evening hours…. Waiters should get some support….

Clean, great location and facilities

Everything!! Excellent breakfast, comfortable, exceptional facilities, the best staff in town. Two steps from the waterfall and the view! The view!!!

Air conditioning didn’t work properly but was bearable.

Where to start? The decor throughout is imaginative! The rooms are super comfortable! Breakfast is delicious! The rooftop pool is great! And the staff are so exceptional!

Staff was very nice and helpful, location is amazing right next to the big waterfall, it will rock you to sleep :)The pool on the top was a gem, not crowded, everything you need is there, you can lay down and read your book in peace after a swim, just relax! Special mention to the breakfast: never had such good food in a breakfast buffet, I literally loved it. Would surely like to come back again!

There was a stain on my fresh towel in the bathroom - but there were plenty so nothing I complained about! I dropped something and noticed quite some dust under my bed, I would not expect that from such a great hotel, but also happens - not mad about it!

Pool and spa opening times are too short mainly if you check in late.

Location was right next to the waterfall and you get the full view of the valley. And the staff was very helpful in guiding us to nearby trails, thermal spas and accessing the gastien card for discounts on cable car and getting around the city

In a good location right by the waterfall and with parking nearby. Sister hotel across the street had a nice bar area which was convenient especially since most of the rest of the town was closed for the off-season (we visited in May)! The staff that we interacted with were friendly and helpful.

The 'pool' themed decor throughout the hotel and in the rooms is odd, I expected something nicer for the price. The included breakfast was just so-so. Given that most of the town's restaurants, shops etc were closed for the season the hotel price seems high in hindsight.

This is a beautiful hotel. The scenery is stunning in every direction. Infinity pool on the roof top overlooking the town, valley and mountains. Nice large inside bar/restaurant, outside terrace seating, and a smaller inside bar. The staff was exceptional.

We came in mid May and much of the town was closed. It's after ski season and before the summer business. This is not the hotels the fault of course, and we found the quiet very relaxing, but just know if you're looking for a party in shoulder season this town isn't for you

The breakfast was good, the staff was very nice and friendly, the pool is so cool! The room was big and had everything we needed. Loved staying there. Discounted parking very close by

beautiful hotel, combing old world and funky modern...amazing staff, infinity pool one of the most beautiful I have every seen, comfortable places to work and sit in lobbies. just all around great.

Incredible interior design, state of the art concept, lovely staff, bright and spacious rooms. Amazing views, food was delicious. I can‘t praise it enough.

This place is incredible. I really enjoyed my stay. The standard hotel room is quite spacious, with very comfy bed and pillows. There are saunas with a beautiful view and a really cool pool on the roof. The breakfasts are really tasty. You can also rent an e-bike on the ground floor and go exploring (highly recommended!). There is a beautiful waterfall right next to the hotel.
