Design Hotel Miramonte

The place is cozy, the staff is very kind. The breakfast is amazing. The afternoon fre soup and sweets - heavenly. Just a short walk to the Graukogel ski lift or to the center. Nice sauna with good refreshment. Perfects swing chairs on the terrace.

The "all you need is love" wall should be replaced, and the wooden fences on the balconies as well. It creates a creepy first impression. The saunas are crowded since one of them basically does not work. The stove looks broken although it heats a bit (50oC). Some bushes should be cut down to make a perfect window view from the finish sauna. Try to update maps with Google or local authorities, since Google maps does not even show the road to the hotel.

no privacy on the balcony due to lack of separation from the next one, and the apartment had no refrigerator or safe box. tricky drive to the hotel.

The hotel has a great atmosphere, welcoming helpful staff and a nice bar area. The restaurant was excellent. The bedroom and balcony just fine. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Thoroughly recommended.

Our stay at Design Hotel Miramonte in Bad Gastein was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and a beautifully designed space that blends modern elegance with a cozy, relaxed atmosphere.The rooms are stylish, comfortable, and offer breathtaking views of the mountains—waking up to that scenery was a dream! The hotel’s spa and wellness area were the perfect retreat after a day of exploring, and the food was simply outstanding—fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared.The staff went above and beyond to make my stay special, always attentive and friendly. Whether you’re here for relaxation or adventure, Miramonte has everything you need for an unforgettable experience. I can’t recommend it enough—definitely a 10/10

Breakfast was delicious! I am not vegan, but the vegan dishes were amazing! The sauna was perfect after a full day of skiing! The staff was extremely professional and friendly! The views from the hotel were wowing. The shuttle service to the slopes was wonderful. The hotel itself had very cozy and quaint feel to it. The bed was super comfortable and the ski room had warming boot hangers!

The hotel is definitely very nice. But some things are not very practical. I understand it’s a design hotel, which doesn’t go hand in hand with practicality, but for example, a full body mirror would be nice to have in the room. Also, the bathroom is very spacious, which is nice, but the lighting was very dim. And last but not least, and this probably only affects 1% of visitors, the wifi in the room was practically nonexistent. If you are on a true vacation, this shouldn’t be an issue at all. But I had to work evenings, and it was challenging.

The home made breakfast and the light lunch exceeded my expectations. The hotel is kind of “zen” type, quiet and where you can enjoy relaxing moments including at the spa.

One of the best stays of my life. Great hotel with breathtaking views. Nice and cozy room, extra comfortable bed. The great terrace and variety of food in the buffet are huge. I enjoyed every minute spent in the hotel Miramonte! Thanks a lot for the comfort and the service you provide! The cleaning stuff was also very kind and friendly.

Amazing breakfast! Amazing location, hospitality. We had some great musicians playing for us one night.

Saunas could be a bit bigger, the hotel was fully booked, so it was a bit crowded, but still there was space to lie and we still didn't have to wait.

The service for dinner was not the fastest, and kept forgetting what we ordered.

Everything was great.The room was tiny but really perfect for us. Bed a bit soft but we slept like babies: the pillows, duvets and bedsheet are super.The breakfast is varied and the offer is very wide. In the price you also have the afternoon soup and cakes, which goes ahead until 17:00.Great relaxing area with many many architecture books and bar with excellent view over the mountains.Two saunas available, with floating resting beds or just hanging seats outside on the balcony.As a plus, if you are into hiking, the trail to reach Graukogel starts just behind the hotel.

There were no glasses or mugs in the sauna area during our stay (3 days), therefore it was impossible to drink water or tea that are there available to guests. We brought our bottles.

There was NO wifi in any parts of the building. The bed is the most uncomfortable one I’ve ever slept in, and it also made a very loud noise when one of us was moving (turning from one side to the other), waking up the other one. No minibar in the room either. We paid extra for a bigger room, and yeah the room was spacious but was on the groud floor right next to a tourist walking path and there were people walking and talking extremely loud, waking us up at midnight and 6-7am… we were exhausted by the end of the trip…

Incredible breakfast. Lunch was even provided to the guests. Stylish interiors, very peaceful location. We loved our stay!

It is an excellent place to take the vacation! I haven't felt this welcome and relaxed in a very long time! It has perfect location, the terraces with views are providing a lot great and comfortable places to relax and the extra bonus in form of small "jause" with tasty soup, home made bread and cakes was just topping the amazing experience! Thank you for great stay, it was very enjoyable!

A relaxed and lovely place. Restaurant and bar staff were doing a superb job and food offering is excellent.

This hotel is incredible for short- and longterm stays, breakfast is amazing, additional lunch is a great option and a dinner was just delicious. The room was squeaky clean and comfy, the spa area was nice with options of the massage, scrubbing, facials and thermal baths. All in all this hotel is great, feels like little American home in such a quiet beautiful place. I saw a lot of the people being pissed here in the comments about the WiFi, but for me it was actually not a problem. The WiFi works great in a lounge area and restaurant.

Honestly, can’t remember any disadvantages?
