The breakfast was exceptional. The interaction we had with the staff was good.

The stay was stressful. While the property sent us an info email they neglected to send two very essential pieces of information: the room number and the WiFi information. This lack of information created issues. We could not tell what the room number was. We had to try our key on each door during a thunderstorm. This was a problem as the doors were located outside. We tried to get a hold of someone, but we didn’t have any WiFi information so we had to activate our data plan. Once we called we only had a recording which we could not understand. We would have left for a local hotel, but our luggage had been put in the room earlier that day. We eventually were able to find the room with the assistance of a fellow guest. The process took about 45 minutes. We didn’t use the spa elements in the end due to the weather and lack of information . Regarding comfort, the rooms were clean and spacious, but the bed was uncomfortable. Maybe we were spoiled by the much more affordable, comfortable, and accommodating lodging we had in Prague.

The breakfast was simple but good enough. I liked the mini omelettes with vegetables.The apartment was very spacious, the interior of the main room is nice with mountain / wood motives.The parking is convenient.

- No reception- No way to connect to the staff, we tried to call the phone number but nobody picked it up at 6PM on Sunday- It would be nice to repeat in English your messages either in phone auto response service and in booking.com. Most of the tourists were not from Germany. I could translate the checkin message because I had internet but I didn't understand a bit of the phone auto response.- It took a while to understand how to self checkin- We expected some baby room accessories we saw on the family room photos (staffed animals, board games, books). It was a little bit disappointing to find it is not like on the photos.- Some sweet pastry for breakfast would be nice

We were 2 families- 8 people in total but had only one bathroom although in the booking details it said 2. The double bad in the single room was very shaky and noisy. Each time one of us moved - the hole house could hear

Nice appartement with plenty of space. The rooms were very clean. Breakfast was good.Very friendly staff at breakfast.It was nice that you could indicate when new towels were needed: when coming back a staple of fresh towels was waiting in front of the appartement door.Sauna and swimming pool are nice to relax in the evening.

It is pity that there is no possibility to drop off luggage on the day of arrival, before check-in.People arriving by night train should therefore use other facilities to drop of luggage in Bad Schandau.Wifi was not very stable.

Close to everything you would need to walk to. Parking ONSITE in a garage that is very accessible. Plenty of space for families. Well stocked breakfast.

Expensive but similar range to many other places in the location. Not many restaurants in the area but there is a supermarket and kitchen in the apartment.

Check-in was via key card and was very easy and staff were extremely helpful with our luggage transport. Thank you to Sven and Heike for their fast response and professional assistance . Very good communication. Outstanding breakfast.

Perfect location for visiting Sächsische Schweiz. Easy self check-in, parking space under the building, outdoor pool, very nice breakfast, spacious apartments. Close to busses, supermarkets, ferries.

The breakfast was very basic, the pool is much smaller than you think from the pictures, there is no sauna or wellness, in contrast of what is advertised. There is no staff, nobody to answer questions. The room didn't have WiFi.

All good. Clean and spacious room, check-in is fully automated, not bad breakfast.

We rented double room with separate children’s room. It was quite big and comfortable. There is underground parking, also outdoor on the territory. The breakfast was great

Cold pool - even in July. Breakfast buffet was OK, but below medium. Local specialties and more high quality products in the buffet would be great.

This was a clean and very comfortable stay in a well-located apartment, one of several in a complex. The pool was small but enjoyable to use. Our room faced a "garden" or courtyard overlooking the pool area. This was a lot nicer than those facing the road. The place is generally very good but is badly let down by having no staff on site when you arrive. Location good for Elbe, next to National Park Centre, near local shops and a Lidl, easily walkable to ferry to station, historic elevator, Toscana Therme...

Check in procedure!! We had not realised a code would be issued. This had arrived by email that morning and we had no connection so hadn't received it. Had to go to Tourist Information where they helped us to get connection ("Bad Schandau" is free).Having found the code we got into the locker with the keycard but then couldn't open the main door! It turns out there is a button to the right of the door and you have to hold the keycard against it to get in. It's not labelled and it's not at all obvious, being small and set back away from the door. Five other people were having similar issues so it was not just us!! Only one keycard for the room, which makes it tricky if you want to do different things.

Very nice and spacious room, rich breakfast, central location of accommodation, friendly staff etc. - everything was OK. We very much appreciated the guest card, which could be used for public transport, including the historic tram and which was included in the price.

Even though there were home-made jams and local honey, I was missing a sweet breakfast - a piece of cake or something like that.

Lovely family apartment with room for me, my parents, and my children. The waitstaff at breakfast were very friendly and accomodating. Overall we were extremely happy with our stay and the value for five people. The pool would have been lovely but the weather just wasn't hot enough! The location makes it easy to walk into town or to drive to all the main locations you would want to visit.

My main complaint is that there is no bathtub. When a room has a bunk bed and is made for families (I assume?) it makes sense to have a bathtub and not just a walk-in shower. I would have liked more warm options at breakfast, but I also understand that English-style breakfasts (e.g. with bacon) are unusual in German hotels. There were also many heavy doors (e.g. at the main entrance and from the car park) which seemed to contradict the "Barrierefrei" statement. The ramps and lift made it easy with a pram, but these doors made it a lot harder. More kitchen utensils and larger glasses for water would have been great, plus the senseo coffee tasted like dishwater - not sure if that was the machine or the pods, but it was so weak we couldn't drink it, and there weren't many pods included for a 3-night stay either. Luckily there's a bakery nearby so we could get coffee before 7:30

Everything here went great! The staff was so friendly when we asked if we could leave our luggage there early to go hiking, and they sent our luggage straight to our room. We got upgraded to a beautiful 2 bed room apartment which was very well equipped and comfy. The check-in was very smooth and the breakfast was so great. All in all, really recommend!
