SWISS HOTEL LA COURONNE

The location.

The staff open the extra door which was right next to the bed of our room at 1 o'clock in the morning which should normally not be happening.It was simply a nightmare for us.First of all we were not sure who this guy was.He didn't come to knock the front main door to apologize or inform us of the situation but he did talk behind the door instead,we couldn't really understand the point of his actions, Which was not a professional manners.The receptionist apologized about it to us with CHF 50.- coupon but not a refund of what we paid for a room and supposed to be a relaxing evening but it turned out as not appreciated surprise.unfortunately it was not a good experience .and disappointed.

The location and breakfast were very good

No ac and lack of tv station with news. The backyard could have been cleaned up. The view from our balcony was beautiful until one looked right below in the back of the hotel

Nice large room, with double bath/shower room. Good breakfast. Right in the town centre. Easy to reach and near other nice places like Murten. Very good value for money.

Coffee machine electrical plug (German type) does not fit in (Swiss) socket. Luckily, we had an adapter.

Very silent but also looking at old city center.

Smell during dinner time..

We came across this small town by chance during our Christmas trip with friends. The stay was very comfortable, and the food was absolutely delicious.

Basic room, horrible breakfast

The room was basic, bath room could use an upgrade. Breakfast was absolutely horrible

Second time here. Great location, in the heart of town, walking distance from the train station. Spacious room, with a balcony. Friendly staff. I would definitely stay there again.

The location is central of the town! The room is so cozy and comfortable ~ The staff of the hotel is really friendly that help me a lot ! I am so happy to stay in this hotel for a day.

Excellent location on the square in the middle of the old town. Very nice Asian food in the restaurant, and the breakfast was good too. Helpful, friendly staff, quiet room at the back, it all made for a very nice experience in this charming town.

Excellent central location with parking in the street

Church clock quite loud if you need to keep the windows open , in Summer for example

Comfortable beds, clean room, friendly staff, good breakfast, great location, great for visiting the tattoo.

Great location walking distance from the train station. Friendly sur staff. Good value for the money. Spacious room. I would stay here again

It was clean. There were boiled eggs on breakfast.

Internet did not work on arrival only after informing the staff. Staff did not speak sufficiently neither English nor German. It was unbearably hot at rooms, aircondition was missing. There was no shampoo on the room. Glasses for juice were extremely small.

Perfect location in old, beautiful building on main square of the town.

More expensive than a beautiful, clean, stylish boutique hotel I had stayed in nearby the night before. It seems like the owners try to save money in every way possible--never updating, using the cheapest food possible (Migros Budget, Denner), not really cleaning (dust and cobwebs in room).
