Very clean, nicely decorated room, lot's of space inside. Big parking to put a car for free, well located Airconditioning works very goodEnough closet space which is not often in hotels and even small fridge in a room

There was just one hanger in the closet. Huge hanging rail and 1 hanger ;)Absoulety no hooks in the bathroom to hang the towel thereShower has no glass door or anything else - room we got was for handicapted people so probably that is why for the purpose of accesibility. Nevertheless it was hard to shower without flooding all area around

Big room in excellent location. Big bathroom. Access was easy.

I liked the check in process a LOT! No need to say anything, we just took our key from a locker and we enjoyed our stay.It's also at a great place.

The mattress was a bit too hard, but overall that was good for my back.

wifi worked, the place was very clean. There was no coffee so I could not make it even if they have a nice kettle. The TV channels are great. The only complaint is about the mattress, which was hard and cheap. Also the water pressure in the bathroom was not great. However, all in all, for the price I paid, it was perfect. It's steps from a shop where you can buy basic items, steps from the library, close to banks and basic restaurants. However, it really depends on the price. There are balcony rooms for a higher price and they are nicer of course. This one was basic and for the price, as I said, I was happy. Also, there is basic soundproofing and I tell you, it's better than in many other places so I was happy about that too, or maybe it was my room, which was tucked away not adjacent to another room.

water pressure in the shower is not good. The mattress was very hard but very cheap, which is not a good combination. I woke up with a sore back. Mattresses in Portugal are often extremely hard, but there is a difference between a cheap mattress and a better one. However, I found the room for a very good price and for that I was happy, as the room was very clean, the bathroom was big and modern, and the TV channels were plenty, including foreign channels, and good wifi.

Modern, clean and great location on Camino and very near main square.

No coffee in room. Rea only with kettle. Instant coffee packets would be welcome. Not staffed and when I tried to get assistance with air conditioner and ask about whirlpool (not accessible), I received no response to using buzzer in lobby or telephone call. Room was too warm!

Right on the Camino so perfect if you are a pilgrim. Very clean, modern and quiet.

Convenience and price

No people to speak with, my reservation showed breakfast but I was told I had no breakfast. No one to speak with.

Spacious,clean, airy, check-in straightforward, felt luxurious except for a few small things lacking…

Small things lacking - we only had 1 clothes hanger, no bath mat, two sachets of tea, no milk, no coffee. Like I said, small things, but didn’t fit with the amazing feel of the rest of the place. Also messaged ahead about dietary requirements for breakfast and message not passed on (the person attending breakfast was lovely though and apologetic).

A very nice and modern room. The staff was really helpful. The fact that there was a babybed available is a plus point. The location Is good!

Both my last stay 3 weeks ago and this stay, there were problems with the booking system.Last stay I had two rooms booked but only one was made up. Luckily I was happy to share a room with my daughter and we got a refund.This time I was meeting up with a friend, and his room booking was apparently not in the system. He had not received a confirmation with room number and key codes, but was not aware he should have. There is no reception, and the person on call had no English, nor been trained to use Google translate, which would have helped communication. Eventually he received a message through booking.com that his booking had been cancelled, and he had to travel to an alternative hotel near Penela. Not a great experience.TL:DR - the room booking/confirmation system needs a major shakeup.

The facilities are modern, bright and well maintained. The location is excellent and there was a lovely peaceful atmosphere. The breakfast was substantial, tasty and varied. The price was very reasonable.

The location.

The fact that the host didn't answer my questions. The fridge was making noises and the bed wasn't that comfortable. The bath had mold in the poliban.
