Location is good

They game me wrong room I booked for king size bed with balcony view.Instead they gave me twin bed.Whcih was not comfortable and not what i booked for.

Only location was great, close to Nizami street and great restaurants

Place need renovation, walls wet, towels very old, bath need upgrades, food ready bad with no one to service you

location is amazing. Rooms are well decorated, with nice furniture.

Getting a Taxi drop within old town is difficult, better to take hotel shuttle.Bathrooms get smell and shower is clumsy. Breakfast was average, missing a bit international foods, no egg station.

Best location for tourist highly recommended and in staff hasan was really nice he spoke well in English always try to help and really sarcastic guy 10 star for hasan too

The property was was perfect clean and design was great. Location in the center of Baku near by to every where. The staff was adorable

I had a wonderful stay at Shah Palace Hotel, Baku. The hotel’s location is perfect—right in the heart of the Old City (Icherisheher), making it easy to explore historic attractions, cafes, and shops on foot.The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with a beautiful traditional touch that matches the surroundings. The staff were very polite, friendly, and helpful, always ready to assist with directions or requests.Breakfast was fresh and tasty, with a good variety to start the day. The atmosphere of the hotel is peaceful and elegant, making it a great place to relax after sightseeing.Overall, Shah Palace Hotel offers great value for money, excellent service, and a memorable experience in Baku. I would definitely recommend it and would love to stay here again.

The hotel is close to very noisy restaurants and clubs so we had some disturbance for our sleep

Rooms and hotel facilities had a very bad smell. The breakfast quality was extremely poor, and the reception staff could barely understand English, which made communication difficult.

Location and breakfast were excellent.The girl that brought us cappuccino at breakfast was an angel.

Rather cold in the room. The water in the shower was summer temperature in the morning.It was hard to get some more pure water in the room.At Finnish sauna it was only 65 C, in Turkish sauna there was barely warm and no steam. So spa is not working preperly at my point of view.

I hope they could change the pillows, they were very hard to sleep on

The location inside the old town is perfect. The inner court of the building is beautiful and impressive. However it could have been better illuminated at night

Taxis need to pay an fee at the gate to enter into old town and come to hotel. The Enter/Exit at the gate also takes a bit of time. So one should expect longer waiting time for taxis and an extra cost

The location is superb.

If you’re staying there with the car please don’t park in front or in old baku area as i paid 118 Manat for just 18 hours. We were 4 members and booked 2 rooms, i requested 2 rooms next to each other but they didn’t give us the rooms even on the same side of the building. The rooms had some odd odor. They didn’t even provide tissue boxes. When we asked for the tissue boxes they provided us with 2 toilet rolls. Oohh yes let’s talk about luggage, they didn’t bother to accommodate the luggage shifting from the car to the room when we checked in, at check out i went to the reception and requested to help me out so the person came and help with me to transfer the luggage to the car.

Lots of variety for breakfast. Each day was different. Located right inside old town. Room was large, comfortable and spacy. Bathroom was huge and water flow was great. Beautiful architecture especially the courtyard. Didn't get chance to try the spa. Staff are very helpful and humble.

There was a distinct smell coming from the bathroom, besides that everything was fantastic.
