The hotel staff were courteous & helpful. The room & the general area was kept nicely clean and organized.

The shower pressure was very slow & took over 20min to take a 5min shower. The A/C system was shutdown & my room was warm which made it uncomfortable. No housekeeping late evening time-didnt get towels TV remote not working, took 2days to replace

It's difficult to walk around the hotel with a baby stroller. The kids pool did not have shade. The indoor pool is only for swimming in deep water. not suitable for kids.

Large pool

Outdated rooms, far from center

The staff everywhere was fantastic. Also in the entrance to the fitness and indoors swimmingpool. We got a free upgrade and breakfast was nice!A special thanks to Jalal, he was working so hard for getting our lost luggage back to the hotel.

The Aircondition was broken and it couldn't be fixed. But we were however offered another room.

deluxe room size was nice

Everything was worn out, the furniture, the towels, and even the plumbing of the bathroom.

Receptionists were all helpful and kind. They are all professional!!!

Its old building and probably hard to clean. So it wasnt so clean and the water drain in the shower room was awful

Parking is difficult due to limited space in front and quite far location from large parking spot that is difficult in the summer time.

Breakfast was very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room service food is delicious.

It was a perfect stay in Excelsior. Staff is helpful, the breakfast is great with fresh and copios choice. There is sauna and stream cabin separately for women and man. We loved the pools also. The whole hotel have a good ambiance with light and music. Our room was quiet with panorama to the city. We enjoyed also the well equiped fitness centre. I absolutely recommend this place.

The breakfast was decent.

The location is next to highway, too much traffic. The only way to get out is taxi, even though it is not expensive but these guys are dangerous to travel with. Some cars did not have safety belts, they drive carelessly, texting during driving. The guests smoke in the rooms and smoke goes through ventilation system. Dont order any kind of meat in the restaurant: too old, chewy,tastes horrible.

Qr code information in rooms is not corresponding to reality, dont use room service from that qr-code page, because noone is checking orders from that page. Breakfast times are different if it is holdiay or weekend, which we were not told and personal wanted to take 25 azn for coming to breakfast after 10. Breakfast is so so considering it is 5stars hotel. Bread was dry, food were not replenished. Some of the nametags of the dishes didnt correspond to the food inside the serving bowls. First room we got was not clean and it dropped water from the ceiling- when we informed reception, they changed a room directly. Also the spotlights got power short circuit(probably of the humidity). In the shower it was dropping from the pipes.The placement of electricity plugs inside a room is not convinientIn corridors with rooms there was often smoke smell, so if you are a non-smoker then you have to go quickly to your room.

We again reselected this nice hotel as ever in our Baku business trips. Our choice didn't mistaken ourselves in accordance with the great kind asssistance of the hotels very well experienced staffs; Mr. Nizami, Mr. Coshgun, Mr. Jalal and the others. I am thankfull to the management of the hotel to employee and continue to co-operate with.The beds of Deluxe rooms are perfect... Close to city centre where you can reach easily with Bold in a few minutes...

The closing time of the swimming pool was 10 pm, at around 9:45 they switched off the lights while I was swimming alone without notifying me.

Facilities were superb and I liked the breakfast service very much, for the variety of options and helpfulness of the staff
