Belle View Hotel - Sea View & Sunset

Lovely hotel in 3 mins walk from tiny village with fantastic taverna (ansi v grilled fish). Staff are very kind and helpful. Pool area and beds with pool towels. Great location to visit Asos and Fiskardo. Stayed one night on day trip to Kefalonia from Lefkada. Was a great choice.

Breakfast bread was fresh but overall buffet could be improved 1-2 notches to make the stay even nicer.

The hotel is very clean and ran by a staff from the Philippines. They are really great people and will do anything to make your stay pleasant. Breakfast is really good. Fresh baguettes bread every morning.

The location is a little far from the center and need to drive about 6 to 7 KM's in a very curved road to get south. The pool looks great but could not enjoy it because of the bad weather.

Such a pleasant stay. Staff were so welcoming. Hotel on quiet little road but walkable to taverna and shops.

I can think of one thing. The breakfast was brilliant no complaints at all.

Incredible views, absolutely pristine and spacious suite , plentiful, delicious and varied breakfast with different home baked goods each day and really warm and attentive staff for whom nothing was too much trouble .

Nothing - would have given it 10/10 however it is worth noting that although there is a bar on site there are no restaurant facilities for dinner . We were able to eat well at a restaurant a short walk away so it’s not a problem .

The location is great. The staff were so friendly. Especially the lady manager, Virginie, always cheery, always happy to help. The views are fantastic and it was lovely to see the sunsets. The hotel is in 5 mins walking distance from 3 restaurants. We liked "The Picnic" the best - lots of choice of Greek dishes at extremely reasonable prices. We walked to 3 beaches (Jeresulem, Alati & Foki) on different days while we were there - long walks but the scenery is stunning. The best walk is to Foki Beach (its all downhill). We sunbathed on the beach then had lunch at the Foki Tavern (this was very popular with the locals) the food again was really good and cheap. We then walked from there to Fiskardau (20 minutes). These views were amazing. We did this route 3 times. We walked back from Fiskadau once (long way 1hr 10 mins) and took a taxi twice (12 Euros - 7/8 mins). The taxi rank is very easy to find.

Such a lovely hotel with amazing pool and views.

We think it would be nice if there was a proper bar as before. A centre of the hotel for people to meet.

Spotless hotel few minutes drive from Fiskardo with nice location awarding a beautiful sunset. Great service from friendly hosts, nice breakfast. Good restaurants in walking distance.

Our rooms' door lock was damaged and the TV set was too smart for me

Location is great and quiet. Staff is more than nice giving us good tips and available. The view is fantastic.

The hotel is a little bit old style inside (furnitures). Redecorating (plants,…) could give better amotsphere. Hôtel has a great potential.

. The staff and service were impeccable, really top-class. The swimming pool was fantastic, and the bedrooms were very good.

Breakfast was only just adequate and it was disappointing that no food was available during the rest of the day.

The property is amazing, starting from the lovely staff to the great pool and rooms with sea view. Anything we needed, the staff was very kind to help with. They are very polite and friendly and make you feel welcomed. The location is very good. Amazing beaches are nearby and Fiskardo is just at 10 minutes drive distance. Would definitely come back to Belle View.

Excellent breakfast - fresh pastries and local delights every morning . Also available eggs bacon cheeses etc.

Amazing views and pool area. Staff was incredibly helpful. Helped get reservations for awesome dinner 10 minutes away! Very helpful with a lot of luggage. Very nice breakfast in the morning!

A bit out of the main businesses.

The Belle view has great potentials: it is a recently reopened hotel. The furnitures are old but overall it is comfortable place to relax and enjoy the north part of Kefalonia (convenient to Fiskardo). Our apartment was large and the terrace had stunning 180-degree views of the sea. They were also clean and comfortable, and some staff really friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the pool, which was perfect for cooling off on the first day of arrival.

Our stay at this hotel was completely ruined by the aggressive behavior of a staff member at the reception.We had a major issue with the hot water in our room for two days. We reported the problem to the reception desk the very first day, but they assured us it was just a minor plumbing issue and that we had to open hot water for several minutes. However, the problem persisted the day after. We were unable to take any hot showers during the entire stay, which was very unpleasant.When we checked out, we gently asked for a partial refund to compensate us for the inconvenience (which is legally due when you encounter such problems). After all, this is a 4-star hotel, and we were paying €420 per night, so we thought a refund was a reasonable request. However, the hotel manager was extremely rude and dismissive. After few minutes of discussion, he came out with many excuses and non-sense and told us that he would only refund us €13 a day because we had still been able to use the pool and parking lot (which we were already paying for!). When we refused this proposal asking whether he was joking or not, he acted like we were beggars trying to scam the hotel out of money and told us he owe no refund anymore.We were completely shocked and offended by his behavior. We have never been treated so poorly by a hotel staff member before. This one incident completely ruined our stay at the hotel. We would never stay here again, and we would strongly advise others to avoid this hotel as well.

Everything was fantastic, beautiful ambience, amazing views, great facilities and staff.

The beds could have been more comfortable

Oh wow this place is Heaven on Earth.Everything is absolutely perfect, pristine, beautiful.Rooms are spotless, amazing views.The staff are faultless, waited on us hand and foot around their beautiful pool bringing drinks and snacks.I did not want to leave.The village has everything you need.If like me love traditional tavernas with shop no tackiness or chavs.I would stay here again in a heartbeat it's wonderful.Xxxx

The smell in the roomThe fridge needs to be cleaned or changed and work, so it keeps our stuff cold even when you are not in the bedroom (electricity turned off when you get out of the room).
